My point isn't that a higher FG% = more shots. My point is that taking more shots than another player means shooting more than another player. I don't see that as a particularly complicated concept.
So your point has ONLY to do with making shots in that situation? That's an entirely different point than arguing about who shoots the most among a group of players -- that's judging the quality of players in light of their performance in a rarely-occurring situation in which only one of the 5 players on the floor get that chance. By your logic, wouldn't Robert Horry be "shooting more" than Tim Duncan?
