ST poster of the year 2006-2007 season awards!

I'm not going to make a list because I'll forget someone. And really, a good poster is kinda like a good NBA referee -- the best ones are the ones that are nameless to the average fan. 99% of the time, if a poster (or a referee) stands out, it's for negative reasons.

I will give credit to FromWayDowntown and Solid D who both entered the 2006-07 season as legends and both upped their game even more ... especially during the playoffs. Props.

Overall, though, I really do think the Spurs forum is currently better than it's ever been. There are a lot of knowledgeable new-ish posters (Bruno and objective to just name two off the top of my head) who have upped the overall IQ of the Spurs forum. While the Spurs forum isn't as easily digestible as it was back when there were fewer people posting, I really do think it's at its peak heading into the 2007-08 season.

Some of the best posters post like once a week. It's hard to remember their screen names. It's a shame but allot of great posters are from other teams as well!

The Slovenian Thread has been going strong for three summers now, so props to all those posters. ( You know who you are.

L.J. and Kori- get my vote for most knowledgeable. If I ever want anything clarified I look for their post.
