If the Pats lose, he should change his avatar to Bridget Moynahan.
Someone make an avatar bet with monosylab1k because I'm sick of that ing Randy Moss picture.
If the Pats lose, he should change his avatar to Bridget Moynahan.
bok bok bok bok Ba Gawk
You got it. Sig for a week.
They already faced an AFC team, and they won.
2 AFC teams, and won
True that.
How bout this
If the Patriots lose to the Colts, I'll sport an Adam Vinatieri Colts avatar until the playoffs. This is the worst possible punishment because there is nobody on this earth that I despise more than that rat bas traitor prick. I'd rather have dinner with Bin Laden and Kim Jong Il than even be seen eating in the same room as Vinatieri.
And if the Colts lose you have to sport a Brady avatar.
Deal?
PS - I really regret my use of the word "sport" in this post, it's such a y way to say things.
An AFC playoff team.
You just can't pick and choose what to respond to.
Yeah like the Chargers are anything good.
I don't like da Boys but at least I can make a judgement without hate....you don't now how!
You didnt say anything about playoff teams
How did that Charger/Packers game go? Must be nice to play in the ty division the Chargers do. I wish I could root for a team that could be a half game behind the lead for the division through 5 weeks with 2 wins
There are as many good teams in the NFC as there are in the AFC, the NFC just doesnt have the two elite teams.
The only way the Pats will blow Dallas out is on X-Box 360. Dont expect a blowout from either team.![]()
This game is going to go to be decided late in the 4th. Owens will have a great game as should Romo while Brady and Moss should be on fire as well. Pats secondary isnt horrible but it isnt as great as it was during their 3 les in 4 years. I expect both teams to score points and a good amount of them as well.
Right now I have to say Indy is the best team in the league at the moment. They have 5 starters out and have played much tougher teams than the Cowboys/Pats have. They also play in MUCH TOUGHER division. Jags, ans,Texans![]()
How is Ted-Ginn Jr working out as your #9 pick?
I said I wouldn't be surprised to see you go 15-1, which would mean the next AFC team you faced would be a playoff team.
Thats probably true, but I'll take getting to the S.B. and losing over losing in the first round again
I was responding to this:
I didn't pick and choose a damn thing.
You're brilliant.
Really?
Here was my statement in it's entirety.
The first AFC team you'd face in the situation I described would be an AFC playoff team. And after looking at the rest of your schedule, I wouldn't be surprised to see you go 15-1, only to get your asses handed to you by the first AFC team you face.
Anyways, we could round and round all day. What's the point?
I'm counting down the days till Mardigan has to sport a sig.
I don't know who will win the game on Sunday, but it's hilarious to see some of these "analysts" bringing up the record of the Cowboys opponents as some sort of proof that they are overrated when in fact the Pats opponents have just as horrible a record. The Pats have been more consistent in terms of margin of victory throughout the season against bad to mediocre teams than the Cowboys have against bad to mediocre teams, but the Cowboys' defense has been much better in the last 3 games than the Pats defense. Take out the week 1 defensive disaster while they were getting accustomed to the new scheme and this defense is the best in the NFL. They threw a shutout a week ago and only gave up 3 points in a game in which their offense had 6 turnovers! I hope NE comes in believing the hype and overconfident because they'll get shut down if they underestimate this Cowboys defense.
No matter what the Cowboys do this weekend, the haters will be out. If NE wins, it will be "I told you so" if Dallas wins, some excuse for NE will be made. Those who hate the Cowboys solely because they are the Cowboys (or any team for that matter) are incapable of objective thought.
did they now?
The Cowboys played three of the worst offensive teams in the league.
The Patriots played Cincy (high powered offense), Buffalo (total crap), and Cleveland (dropped 50 in a game already), not to mention San Diego, and the most they've allowed in one game this season is 17.
So against Buffalo they allowed one TD on defense and Cowboys allowed one FG. That proves it, the Cowboys have been MUCH better. Too bad the Patriots also didn't have a special teams breakdown or a complete meltdown on offense.
And don't be so quick to discount the Giants game. Plaxico Burress torched the out of them. The Cowboys haven't faced a large athletic receiver like Plaxico since that game. The closest things to Plaxico they've faced are Chris Chambers & Bernard Berrian who went 9 catches, 109 yards and 6 catches, 73 yards respectively. Not too shabby for either. And they're nowhere near as talented as Plaxico. This week they're about to go up against Plaxico times 10000000000000.
We all know what Tom Brady and Bill Belicheck can do.
It took a couple of super bowls before people started to realize how good Bill belicheck is.
The Patriots were good on offense and defense without that much talent. Now they have Randy Moss, Adelius Thomas, Stallworth, Welker, and one of the best qbs ever to play in the NFL.
people dont see Romo as an elite qb and thats one of the reason why they think the cowboys are overrated
i guess you need a qb like manning and brady to be consider an elite team
i would take the pats d over the boys d anytime, im pretty sure the bengals offense would destroy the cowboys d
