There's some amount of truth in that. Still, I would rather have Tim, Manu, and Tony, then Tim, Manu and Kobe. I'm not saying Kobe isn't a great individual player, but his style wouldn't mesh as well. Over the past few seasons it is apparent that Kobe needs to be the star. That wouldn't happen here.
