Seriously, if the Spurs want to get rid of Beno, can they find a taker? For a second round pick, a trade exemption, a monopoly ticket for medium fries at McDonald's? Give this Darius kid a chance; he sure tries harder than Beno.
If this is an indicator of what Washington's been doing in practices and he has another solid game against Detroit, the Spurs really can't afford to keep Beno if they possibly have a decent 3rd PG that has some guts.
I am pretty sure Beno is on his way out....
But I would like to see them get a second round pick or something like that for him if possible....
Early in the season Pop is just going to be screwing around anyway....if they don't waive him, might try to jack up his value a bit...
He definitely needs to be gone no matter what...but it seems like something could be had for him.

Yeah but they don't have to keep Williams on this contract...and it's looking like they might not.

Play Beno as the backup while Pop is ing around with the roster...then move him.
If you can't move him after a bit, then waive him.
Then you can being Williams up anytime you want....

I couldn't see the game, but Washington balled it up. Near triple double playing, played against an incredible PG -- Baron Davis. The guy deserves at least a 10-day contract or something.

Wow the numbers from Washington are VERY impressive.
Definately in this game alone has earned the third PG spot instead of fatass udrih.
