Good call. I thought Cal would be steamrolled...I was obviously very very wrong.

That might be a uva series shaping up there.

But Pittsburgh absolutely crushed Ottawa. Im sorry, Ottawa looks like a second rate team with a second rate goalie. Even if Pitt sweeps, I wont be impressed.

Bummer les Habs are on at the same time as the Wings tonight. I always get a huge thrill watching the Bell Centre do its thing.

Damns that sucks; the regular season games feel like playoff games here, just imagine what it's like in the playoffs with Habs as the 1st seed in the East

Montreal is the best hockey city in the world, period.

There arent many things I want to do before I die, I am a pretty content person, but going to Montreal to watch a playoff game is one thing I will do before I die.

No other building, in any sport, in any country, is as raucous and "into it" as Montreal is at the Bell Centre (<- see how I spelled it? yeeeeeah, thats right es).

I flipped to that game and it was 3-0 right before Morrow went right by Pronger to the front of the net making it 4-0. I didn't see that coming, I thought pronger was a premier defender?

I just want the Stars to get out of the first round, they have enough offense to light up the nets so it's about time they use that, the Brad Richards trade was one of the better trades they could have done. This team can go pretty deep in the playoffs if they are willing to let the offense start doing what they know they can do. It doesn't hurt having Turco in the net, either.

They only lost 9 at home all year, so they haven't sucked there. The Stars have just turned it up Spurs style in the 1st round.

Sorry, I meant compared to the Stars.

With Ribs (we traded him for that Ninima guy) and Richards, they are unstoppable

Not unstoppable. One must remember the Ducks are playing without Perry. And Giguere looks completely human.

There is no replacing the hunger, especially defending their le.

With that said, Dallas has man-handled them. Hasnt even been close.

But Dallas has their weak points.

I thought Montreal would roll Boston, but game 2 and 3 have been a lot closer than I thought they would be.

Obviously, lousy penalty calls are abound this year in the playoffs. But that "hook" to put Boston on the powerplay was one of the worst I have seen.

If Boston ties the series up, Montreal may be in for a real letdown.

    How bout them Flames!

Down 3 goals in the first 5 mins of the game only to storm back and win 4-3 on a late goal by (of all people) Owen Nolan!

San Jose not lookin so good. Nabokov especially.

NYR vs NJ has been more entertaining than I thought it would be. The scores dont reflect it (excpet yesterday), but they have been tough, tough games full of hits and plays and huge saves by both goaltenders.

    Really impressed with both teams.

Detroit @ Nashville, Game 3 tonight.

Lets hope them Wings go up 3-0. Make it a short series.
