So what is he supposed to do? Blast the guy in the air, get ejected, suspended a couple of games, etc?

Jump 2 feet off the ground and block it into the stands? Land on someone's foot and twist an ankle?

The Spurs are up by 20 and you're worried about a guy with a 4 ft vertical slamming one home?

I guess I was blinded by the glow of the four trophies.
I'd say jump 5 inches off the ground and block the damn ball. It's not like I'm bagging on him because it happened once. Everybody gets embarrassed at some time on the court. Kobe got thrown by Pete Chilcutt back in his early years. But Duncan keeps poster factories in business. Wiki Fathead. Fathead was started because Duncan got posterized and the word clicked in some guys head and he reinvented the poster.

I never said the Spurs weren't winners. There is no denying that. Celtics, Lakers, Spurs, Bulls - all dynasties. Spurs are winners even if they never win another game in their life. You can't take it away from them.

Duncan is protecting his ankles. He doesn't need to be a hero. Dirk Nowitski, Josh Howard and Stackhouse are heroes.

And people wonder why the Spurs are boring. Their best player plays with the ferocity of a saavy alley cat.

Is Vince Carter back from his "take it up strong" move? There isnt one player in the league that hasn't had his shot blocked and I don't think Tim saw Kobe come from behind Turiaf or whoever it was.

Agreed. Timmy can have his shot blocked every night, just so long as he's out there playing with the possibility of putting up 20/10 everynight.
