I wish there was some way to make some of the lower-bowl seats off limits to season ticket holders and available on game days for walk up sales at nosebleed prices. That way you could get some of the rowdies in there.
Honestly, the whole Cougar/Lolita angle has always tempted me... 40 year old mother, 20 year old daughter.... It's almost worth the risk of winding up on COPS.

I wonder if Cuban realized how pathetic that crowd looked. He had to have, there's really no other way to see it. Hopefully he does something about it.
I went to see Kanye at Reunion last Friday night and was thinking how badass it would be to have one game over there, for old time's sake.
The AAC just isn't the best venue for watching basketball. Everyone is too far away from the action and the open space eats up most of the sound.
If we ever run into the Warriors in the playoffs again, that's where the games should be.
it's really too bad no NBA team features brown in their color scheme, a brown out would be awesome.
In one of Magic Johnson's biographies, he said that Reunion Arena was one of the loudest opposing team arenas he played in, if not THE loudest.
I was kinda surprised to read that, I was too young for the Mavs 80's heyday and didn't move to Dallas until they were horrible, so my memories of Reunion were watching them get waxed by Utah with about 3000 other people who almost seemed like they'd rather be getting a root canal than watching the game.
I did get to go to a few games in their last year at Reunion when the team was decent, and I at least saw the potential that Reunion Arena had.
I never saw a playoff game there obviously, but one of the first games I did see was against the Rainbow Nuggets during the Doug Moe/Alex English era. Much better atmosphere, and the fans didn't need to be prompted by Humble Billy.
Sadly, Humble kept the crowd in it last night. I'd hate to see what it would be like if he wasn't there to remind them there was a game going on.
It's just what I do. Pump up the crowd, keep the noise going, and lead the Mavericks to victory! If I wasn't around this would be one mess of a franchise.
less Chris Arnold.
btw sometimes it's nice being Billy Hayes. Ocasionally women will press their naked boobs up against a window and shout "Oh, Billy!"
Puttin' them ties on the glass for ya is but one perk of being Humble Billy Hayes.
Midnight Express should be the official movie of the Dallas Mavericks. It's the story of Billy Hayes, starring Brad Davis.
I suggested we play clips of it during timeouts, but management gave me some bullcrap about the AAC being a "family enviroment" and that the clips weren't appropriate.
Isn't that the movie about doing life in a Turkish prison?
The "green out" looked kinda weird on TV considering the Mavs and the court are blue now.
I like the AAC as a basketball venue. (I've seen a few concerts there and one was good and one wasn't. When I was on the floor for an Incubus show a few years ago, it sounded good. Plus the band was good. When I was in the uppers for the chili peppers in January, the sound kinda sucked and the band was not good.)
I'm not a big fan of Reunion.
