7-1, 3-5. With the exception of a 14 point loss in lawrence, the Cat's did not get soundly defeated in any conference road game. They certainly struggled in some ball games, but they had plenty of opportunities to defeat mizzou, baylor, tech, and unl on the road - just didn't make enough plays down the stretch.
I'm just saying that even the statisticians who give the biggest home/road edge will attribute home court to being equal to roughly 10 points.
So when a team gets beat by 21 in Manhattan, it's pretty likely that had those two teams matched up instead in College Station, the result would likely have been similar.
This is in no way to say that A&M can't beat KSU if the two teams matched up on Friday. But when discussing the first game, I don't think you can just chalk it up to home court and dismiss it.
