Vince sucks and so does Houston... these things are not mutually exclusive.
191 yds. and 2 td passes all in 1 game for VY is incredible. Christmas came early for him![]()
Vince sucks and so does Houston... these things are not mutually exclusive.
Vince powers the ans past the Jets by only committing 2 turnovers today (he only lost 2 of his 3 fumbles)! Way to go Vince!
...thats a good point.
he's not an NFL quarterback. funny thing is, he plays on a good team...he just can't get it done.
Vince was awesome as a rookie (as long as you keep in mind he was a rookie), but he's definitely been a disappointment as a Sop re. You'd think with all the work he's put in, he would have improved more than he has.
He has improved his completion percentage considerably, up to an acceptable level (around 62%), but his TD/INT ration absolutely blows, and he's not making as many big plays with either his arm or his legs. He actually has managed to cut down his fumbles slightly even though he's lost just as many.
If he can correct his INT problem this offseason he'll be dangerous next year.
Hopefully the Colts will rest everybody like they have been and the ans will win next week. I'd like to see how VY does in the playoffs since he's "known" for stepping up in big games.
That's a very interesting scenario with every week from here on out is a 'big game'.
I don't know if he has enough weapons around him to do anything remarkable against the Chargers at full strength, but the Colts on cruise control are doable.
people in austin do NOT hate vince young. atrain if ing nuts.
what's the deciding factor on if he's nuts?
are you re ed? he threw 2 last week, then two weeks before that, he threw another 2.
lol, Matt Leinart
that is the stat on cbs I saw or did you make sure they were td not ints
dude has a new system takes a year
did not help he was hurt this year
that is why rivers struggled early
I said there was a select few that did, I did say for the most part everyone here rides Vince's JOCK harder than a triple crown jockey!!
ans had trouble scoring against the Jets. The Jets, people. If the Colts play starters even for just the first half, that's probably good for three Manning TD passes and one Addai TD run. I don't think the ans will manage to score 5 TDs on the Colts, and that's assuming the backups (most of them have started and/or played huge minutes all year) don't get touchdowns or within Vinatieri's range a few times in the second half.
I think Indy wins this game because they realize Cleveland won't beat SD or Pittsburgh. The ans probably won't either, but the safer play is letting Cleveland in so that Jacksonville advances, the Jags play NE and not Indy. If the ans get in and both they and Jacksonville advance, the Colts play the Jags and that's something they don't want.
yep. like i said a long while back, Leinart will be a better QB...just wait.
I would rather play the Bolts than the Jags. . . beat the Colts in a game that matters or in a game that Manning isn't throwing to guys who more than likely won't be taking any snaps in January and your return man doesn't get two lucky touchdowns. Your offense didn't do in Week 10.
As much as I hate that pussy Leinart.........I agree!!!
why don't you look it up for yourself, you stupid
what system is that?
You're kidding, right? You think the Colts will score 4 TDs in a half when last time they scored 2 TDs in the GAME?
That is seriously overdoing it there. Especially when you take into account the injuries they've had since then.
Addai and Gonzales won't be playing much (if at all) because of injuries they suffered last week, and of course Harrison appears to still be out. I doubt Manning will play much more than a quarter given the Colts history with meaningless games.
The ans have a good shot to win what will probably end up being a low scoring game.
So what, according to you we are not allowed to follow a guy's career after college. We are suppose to cease being fans of Vince? Thats ing stupid. People in Austin/Texas LOVE Vince. Too bad. Get over it. He's going to dominate your texans throught his career. So he struggled in year 2? Big deal. He is still learning the game, had the Madden jinx, and has the worst set of WR in the league.
Get use to being the celler dweller in the AFC South for years to come.
To quote the Great Tim Duncan..."Thats re ed"
