    Yeah those shorts sucked...but the person saying that Ray Ray, Pierce and KG never had good teams hasn't watched b-ball....Ray's team on the Bucks had a lot of great players in their prime, Mason, Cassell, and others. He also had some talented teams in Seattle. Are they losers....not really and they did hand us a bad loss yesterday. However, once they win the playoffs they won't be considered . The did impress me yesterday though. Let's see if they can go 46-5 like the Bulls did on their 72-10 season.

    Wah wah wah stop freaking crying.

    If i didn't know any better i would say you were jealous of what they have. Isn't the point to win now and see what happens later? celtics do actually have some good young talent in Rondo, Perkins, Davis for example. Yeah when KG, Allen and Pierce are gone things will be different but the Spurs will suck for a while too as lets face it the spurs don't have any real young talent either apart from parker.

    the aim is to win now and both the spurs and celtics are built to win now not later....
    True, but calling Rondo/Perkins/Davis good young talent is a stretch. The ONLY reason they look acceptable is because of the big 3. I saw Tony Allen missing multiple WIDE OPEN layups. Davis is just a big body, nothing impressive. Perkins is too small for a center and only has good stats because of KG roaming the paint. Rondo is the only player they have that could develop into a good player, but he will never be an All-Star.

    Well I guess Boston has suffered for long enough. Two decades of being irrelevant in the NBA would make me stop watching my team. I can't imagine how it must feel to suck that badly for 20 years.

    James Posey on the Laker's short shorts:
    "They looked like some clowns. I don't know why they did that. It was like they didn't take the game seriously...It's more important for us to get the win instead of make a fashion statement."

    I totally agree. I didn't think it was funny. It seemed like they came into the game with the wrong mindset...and the results showed.
    We deserved the butt whooping !!

    Even if that was true, that's why they develop.

    right, lets ignore the fact tony allen is still recovering from a torn ACL and MCL. he obviously does not have the lift and the explosiveness he used to have. davis is still developing. give him time. as is perkins, though i will admit hes a backup at best. rondo may not be an all star but the kids got game. he plays relentless defense, and hes as fast as tony parker. he cant shoot for , but he knows that and thats why you dont see him forcing up bad shots like a lotta youngsters do. his passing is underrated.

    Terrible game and the shorts were a distration. Bad idea! The Celtics played excellent defense to add to the distration and the Lakers never got into any kind of consistency to their offense or defense. Just a bad game. That said, The Celtics are a very good team!

    Again none of those players would be anything special on any other team. It's precisely because the big 3 get so much attention that they even seem mediocre.

    Davis = fat, slow, unathletic
    Rondo = potential to be a starting PG, nothing more (definitely not an All-Star)
    Perkins = backup C
    Tony Allen = Garbage (torn ACL or not you don't miss wide open layups)
    Pruit = ???

    Ok so you have maybe one guy that might amount to something. When the big 3 are done (3-4 years) get ready for another 2 decades of suck ude. It's sad how Celtics fans think their the shizz when their franchise has been utterly irrelevant since the 1980s. And they weren't even the best team in the 80's, the Lakers straight up owned them (Celtics went 1-2 in the Finals against the Lake show).

    I think the arrogance from this Celtics team is laughable. You have to win something before you have any authority to talk smack.
    Umm... bostonguy is a rather obvious troll.

    boston cannot compete against the spurs in a finals atmosphere. kg is selfish. ray allen is a girl. and the only truth about paul pierce is that he's never won anything.

    All of the Big 3 are losers when it comes to winning in the NBA.

    KG+PP+RA+Doc Rivers = 0 rings and 0 Finals appearances

    The playoffs have as much to do with the mental makeup of your team is it does with the talent. We will see how for real they are when they are facing Detroit or SAS when it matters.

    I'm sure tim duncan,parker and manu would all be considered losers if you swapped places with the celtics big 3 careers.

    Well TD is the only franchise player the Spurs have. Manu and Tony are All-Stars, not franchise players.

    Plus, KG definitely had some teams with talent. They went all the way to the WCF finals one year with the best regular season record in the NBA and choked it all away to the Lakers because KG couldn't hit shots when it mattered.

    Furthermore, Doc has no idea how to prepare this team of vets for a playoff run. They are playing their best basketball right now, and will probably sputter a bit come playoff time. Again, lack of championship experience will be the reason they lose this year.
