Kori, S y, admit it. If you were hiring an assistant and an attractive person applied, if he was qualified, just not quite as qualified as someone you found to be unattractive, you'd hire the attractive one...correct?
This isn't just a guy thing. In a business like Jim's where he has a lot of public contact, the natural tendency is to hire attractive employees, be they male of female. It's the way the world works, and in a profession like Jim's it's probably a good business decision because clients/customers/patients are naturally drawn to an office with attractive employees. Yes?
Now if this person is incompetent, then that changes things. Jim hasn't stated exactly what this gal's job will be, but I'm assuming that it will involve patient interaction.
