    Shaq has DEFINITELY made PHX a much better defensive team. Once they figure out the offense with Shaq they will be better for it.

    Except they gave up 130 points to the Lakers. It looks like they'll give up about 80 to the Celtics tonight.

    I wouldn't go that far and call Phx a defensive power. Sure Shaq clogs up the lane and gobbles up the rebounds, but LA exposed him on the pick-n-roll the other day.

    Boston isn't good enough to run a good pick-n-roll; not really Rondo's strength. Their reliance on the iso game is what is killing them.

    All I know is Amare's game has improved by leaps and bounds. He is active even on defense in a way I haven't seen all year.
