Any idea on a time line Kori? Days? Weeks?
Very good news.
An additional info, coming from a Suns' insider :

It looks like that Barry has made his choice very fast because of that.Barry will not drag it out...since the Suns are asking him for an answer today. That way they have a couple days to decide if they want to bring anyone else it.![]()
My guess is later tonight or early tomorrow. But just a guess.
I never doubted it for a sec. and frankly I'm surprised at how many people were actually worried. Come on guys, give our organization a lil more credit than that. I don't care what BS he says to the media, dude still had his nameplate over his locker. I just saw Erin at HEB and she agrees that the whole thing is just a hoot. No way he's missing out on a repeat and DYNASTY solidification to go to Phoenix. Maybe later on, like when he's ready to die. But as always it's great to hear "what dad would do".![]()
Thanks Kori.
The waiting is easier now.![]()
last night's news when pop being asked about barry's decision ; he said WHAT'S SO HARD ABOUT IT?
why is it this still dragging?
Funny, because my sources are telling me that Barry is still fielding offers from the Washington Bullets and the Charlotte Hornets.
Hey Xylus,
Even if you had Barry, he wouldn't have been the difference for you. You guys will be lucky to get out of round 1. You will wind up in the bottom 3 of playoff positions.
Barry will be back for his usual 10- 13 min per game. Its great to have him but he's gravy.
I agree with Bruce he is a mango tree, he's got a yellow Tee !![]()
Thank you, Nostradamus.
Barry's work is not complete unless and until he strings alongs the Suns for another three weeks so that Giricek too signs somewhere else. This is a rare opportunity to really screw with another team off the court.
Xlus, remember this. Take note: The Suns picked up dead wait in Shaq, his promises are blah. He promised a turn-around in Miami and look what happened. He promised, "give me a little more time to understand the system and watch out." Watch out for what, his slow feet and heavy wait. The Suns are not run-and-gun anymore, they are run-and-gun dragging dead wait. Shaq is finished and needs to retire. Thank you Kerr for helping the Spurs out again.
F N A
The Barry Bounce BACK!![]()
"mango's don't do that manu"
damn i love that commercial
This is great news - I have been really nervous about this since Phoenix and more playing time might have looked really good to Barry.
Brent, you are now officially a Spur legend.
Speedy Claxton, Steve Kerr, and other legends say "sup"
Kevin Willis also.
Well actually...
![]()
i'm sure playing time was a factor and weighed on his mind...he's a ballplayer and wants to compete...obviously guys like him don't enjoy sitting on the bench.
but at the end of the day...comraderie/friendship you've built with your teammates, family that is settled and ultimately a better chance to win another ring outweighs the lack of minutes on the court at this point in his career.
well, that and a reported 3rd yr offered..
welcome home Brent! Thank you Presti!!!!
