Also lets not forget the Spurs HAD Home Hourt Advantage in 2006 and what happened?

The Mavs don't need hca to beat these clowns
you kinda remind me of this little boy:

he's stuffing his mouth with more than he can handle.

translation - just , because your lousy team has more than enough on their plate right now. worry about the suns, not the spurs. the spurs will do just fine - trust me.

the spurs have proven themselves already.

oops, my bad - the suns AND mavs have proven themselves already, also.

they've proven they can crack come playoff time

I thought Peter Holt's group owns the Spurs.
The Spurs have multiple owners where Holt has majority ownership(31% I believe). David Robinson is also an owner but a very small percent.

parker will play just fine come playoff time; and personally, i hope i can say the same about kidd. as much as i would love to sweep y'all, it just wouldn't be the same as having a good series - where we win.

    basically y'all have two choices:
    a. y'all play crappy and we sweep you, or
    b. y'all play well (give the nba a good/entertaining series) and we beet y'all in six.

that's not to mention trading diop, the main body y'all had to put up against duncan.
duncan has ALWAYS been a monster in the playoffs; now without diop?
lets just say, id hate to be a mavs fan during that series.
Tony Parker may well improve his game come playoff time? Probably will. Of course in the Playoffs last year Kidd averaged a Triple-Double for the playoffs. Not one game but 15-11-11 for all the game she played.

I did not want to bring that up but since you brought up Parker improving i guess i will bring up Kidd improving.

And yes Diop played Duncan pretty well in a back up role for Dampier. But i think that Brandon Bass posted up Timmy about 10 times in the games this year. And Bass is clearly better than Diop on offense and Malik Allen is as also better than Diop.

Look i know the Spurs have 4 rings and I know that Dallas should have won in 2006. I know all those things. But what I also know is that Dallas beat the Spurs in the playoffs in 2006 on your court and we have won 60% of the games played against you over the last 3 years. But they have ALL been close games i.e. less than 10 points.

So I like the Mavs chances against the Spurs any time we play. For those Spurs fans who think you will sweep us or 4-1 us, you have not been paying attention to these 2 teams when they play over the last 3 years.

I can see where you are going with this. Mav fans want to play Spurs because that was the last time Mavs had any true success in the playoffs. It is easy to remember that you beat the Spurs. If I were the Mavs I would want to play spurs. They are the only team they hadn't choked against.

Yeah them and the Suns who we beat 4-2 and the Grizz who we beat 4-0

Actually there are only 2 teams that I don't want to play as Mavs fan:

    1. Lakers
    2. Hornets

Both for the Exact same reason, Kobe and CP3 will get the numerous foul calls just like DumbWade did. Kobe shot over 50 FT's in the 1st 2 games we played them this year.

But other than that, bring'em on.

as a mavs fan i really want to ask you this question: do you really want to face the mavs in the first round?
I don't think is a good idea because you will be ousted real quick.
dirk is back and if the current standings stay the same we will be glad to send you fishing just like in 2006, forget about the seedings every team in the west from 1 to 8 is good.
regular season is meaningless. we will win the first round!

    The sportsbars will be ready......
