Wow, Dallas really battled it out and played the Spurs tough. Lots of TOs for the Spurs. Spurs caught a couple of breaks but got some really questionable calls also.
98-95. What a game by Dirk!!!
Wow Rasho 8 points, 12 boards, 4 blocks

Mark Cuban finally figured on how to limit TD, but he cannot stop him tonight. Great game from Dirk 36 pts-13 rbds? Still Spurs RULE!!!!!![]()

Spurs outshoot Mavs 50% to 43% and Spurs shoot 85% from the FT line (17-20) and needed every one of them. Whew!!!
Der Kraut is such a stud. Scoring, defending, hitting big shots, 13 boards, a real leader. He really outplayed Duncan tonight. Tim gets 6 RBs? I think Tim should start deferring to Rasho.
This was a great game, Manu had a great game, nice block, nice 3's...
Yeah! he's HOT tonight!![]()
Hey! Slovenian guy tell Rasho to keep it up okay?
Probably the best D Dirk has played on Duncan.
Will this team ever play up to its potential?
Rasho's sweeping hook might even make a highlight reel.
How about Parker with 9 assists and also hit a clutch jumper down the stretch.
who's he? Dirk?
Is that his German name?
Manu being interviewed on WOAI radio as player of the game.
Manu says it was really hard tonight. Dallas scored really tough shots and played tough to very end. Manu loves playing 4th quarters in crunch time. Drive the lane, make shots or FTs. Says the Houston game next reminds of the last time they played. "It was the toughest loss of the season." We have to be ready.
We should watch out -- Houston is healthy and 7-3 it's last 10.
ugliest hook shot ever,...
but i loved it.
First time i saw Rasho laugh/smile.![]()
yep, HOU will be very tough.
On different nights this week, Sura and Howard had huge games, taking the pressure off TMac. HOU scored 124 pts @DAL. When was the last time a JVG team got 120 points?
Props to Devin for that offensive rebound he stole after Manu's missed three with 15 seconds left. What a great effort play that was. That was probably the key play in the game.
they won't shut up about the Bowen lay-in TD non-tip play on Dallas radio...they were already down three before the play and the ball was going in anyway. Replay is kinda sketchy on TV
what station in dallas..and do they stream online. Usually they have a postgame on the ticket but for some reason not tonight.
Its easy for irk to do that when $tern and the refs let him do whatever he wants and call all kinds of touch fouls on his opponents. Its like irk is the second coming of MJ. When is the "Special" treatment going to end?
That foul on Tony in the 1st half was clearly shown from an angle that showed Tony didnt come close to touching irk. Too bad BSPN chose to ignore showing that angle. And the block by Horry was shown over and over, I'm still waiting to see an angle that shows the ball on its way down prior to Horry blocking it.
Isn't the postgame on WOAI?
"Dirk played great D on Duncan"
Duncan scored 25, missed few shots, made the FTs - did what was needed.
Do you all agree that Dirk played really good D on Duncan?
.
Actually the quote is "Probably the best D Dirk has played on Duncan."
It's all relative. The simple fact that Dirk effectively fronted Tim burned alot of the Spurs' 24 second clocks in the fourth.
Spurs won. Nice D Dirky!
Dirk was not getting off well at all until later in the 2nd. Dallas created a mismatch by going big, as noted in this Blog, with Dirk playing the 3 spot and defended by Bruce, Devin, or whatever Pop could come up with (that didn't work).
It wasn't really Tim on Dirk that much at all tonight.
