I don't get this at all. It's not as if Tony Parker hasn't ever shown the ability to play well on the road in the playoffs.
In 48 career playoff road games (a big number in itself) Parker averages 17.7 ppg while shooting right about 45% from the floor.
In the last 3 years, those numbers are even better -- since 2005 in 26 road playoff games, Parker averages 19.1 while shooting 47% from the floor.
And in 2007, Parker averaged 19.4 on 48% shooting in 9 playoff road games.
In his playoff career, Parker has 18 games of 20+ in road playoff games. He also has 3 games of 30+ points -- all in the last two seasons.
The idea that Parker doesn't play well on the road in the playoffs strikes me as mostly myth.
