In Tim's defense, he was getting hacked alot. Did he shoot even one free throw during the game? I can't remember the Spurs at the line at all during the game. Tough to win when they can push on your hip every time you shoot and get away with it.
How about 23 reb?He was really good at defend.If he didn't take that number of rebounds I'm pretty sure we had lost by more than 30.
And most important.
Why Tim has to take shots? Because his teammates were hidden when he need him.So he is the leader and he has to take his role
Anyway he only take 18 shots.Four more than TP and 3 more than Manu.How about FT?It's amazing he only could take one in the game.
Obviously refs were very important in the game because IMO it's not real Hornets only make one shooting foul in 18 TD's shots.Of course he's not as important as Kobe to the NBA.
I'm pretty sure nobody tell TP to didn't shoot yesterday.He only was afraid to take that role so TD has to do it as always or TP was not able to find the way to the hoop.Sometimes TD could play worse but he is always here and he never is hidden like others.

He has gotten into a bad habit of waiting for the refs to bail him out, instead of driving the ball down their F'ing throat, he settles for these gay ass hooks and flails at the basket instead of dunking that crap. Just in case you haven't been paying attention this season, he has done this over and over and over again. I can't even recall how many times I've heard Sean Elliott criticize him for it. It's become a habit. He needs 21 days to break it.
But of course everyone just laid it off to the "It's only a RS game" bull . Problem is, if you get a bad habit in RS, it carries over to the POs.

That is our Timmy. I accepted this whiny behavior if his a long time ago. He is a creature of habit. He truly believes he has been fouled and the refs have an obligation to call them the way HE sees them. That IS Our Timmy.
Along with his whiny behavior, however, comes the realistic fact that he has to be one of the best power forwards to ever play the game.
And the four NBA les also help me accept whatever way he wants to play.

I thought the same about Tim - he needs to go hard on those dudes and stop flying to the rim. Also Tony needs to be as aggresive he can be at home and on the road (only road game he did this was game 3 vs suns). Those 2 things open up a lot of play for the rest of the team. Manu is setting himself up for too many 3s - he needs to drive to the rim to be the manu-man he needs to be.

This is a simple matter of not wanting it as bad as the other guy.
The Hornets are younger and hungrier than us right now.
Unfortunately I don't see the Spurs winning game 7 unless the Hornets suddenly decide to have an off game there. They are playing as well as any team can play at home right now.
If the Spurs go down, as appears likely, the blame rests squarely on the shoulders of Tim Duncan. Tim has looked like an aging has-been for most of the series. David West has been the better power forward by a wide margin. It's no surprise that the Spurs would lose a series in which Duncan is totally dominated like this.
Comparison:
West: 22.2 ppg, 48.4 fg%, 80.8 ft%, 10.0 rpg
Duncan: 14.2 ppg, 43.8 fg%, 57.7 ft%, 12.4 rpg
Why isn't Parker driving in? Parker needs to be the MVP he was last year and drive in. BUT THE WHOLE team needs to play like that want it....I don't think it was one player or the other but the WHOLE team..... I LOVE MY SPURS AND WATCH ALL THE GAMES...but it was really sad to see them give up like this... We played our hearts out in GM 3 & 4 but what is going on in the Hornets atmosphere that we choke.... We need to get passed HOME COURT ADVANTAGE and play like CHAMPS!!!!!

Timmy's always relied on those weird angled off-balance shots in the post, only difference is he's not getting the "Superstar treatment" from the refrees any longer. He's relied on that stuff so much, and getting the calls, that maybe he thinks it really is a foul every time. People are going to continue to manhandle him, especially if he gets frustrated and loses his cool, so he needs to rely on other post moves.
Also, Timmy hasn't consistently finished strong at the rim since the '06 semi-finals against Dallas. When was the last time he finished at the rim with a two-handed power flush?
They don't care we lose so it is all about "Lets kill Tim Duncan", Manu and Tony i see are getting a pass for borerline terrible games.

I'm not missing anything your posts are not very hard to figure out. Duncan did not play bad last night because he didn't ing care. He did not drive the lane every time he touched the ball in game 4. He shot his bank shot, a couple of hook shots, and he drove the lane some in the 2nd half. He makes all those shots and he is the man but he misses some of those same shots in game 5 and he is a pussy who doesn't care, that is bull . Duncan was not so incredibly aggressive in game 4, compared to game 5. He missed a lot of shots he can and usually does make. Everyone on this board is a Manu homer then a Tony Homer and Tim comes in a distant third. When he is great he gets some credit, when he has a tough one, he is ripped to shreds and his character is called into question. It is ing disgusting.
