FireFox 3: Download Day

well i downloaded it. installed it y nada. i click it and nothing. i go to task manager and it pops up as a process for about a second then it disappears. restart it. same thing. install ff2 and it does the same thing. i restore my system to 2 days prior, uninstall it, delete the folder, run a reg cleaner, install ff2 y nada. oh well. i guess it's opera for me. any suggestions?

It's ok imo,But it doesn't alow the imageshack add ons. But they'll let you know if the updates are avaiable. Its a lot better then IE.

I tried FF3 at work, and the sound wouldn't work on any of the websites. I finally had to uninstall and put FF2 back in. But it may have been Windows messing with me. I've had a lot of buggy things happening on it, so I finally had to do the flush and reinstall everything. I might try FF3 again later.

I switched about a week ago, and what I noticed is that it takes FOREVER to launch. Anyone else noticed this?
Also, what add-ons do you use/have installed? Over here I have:
- AdBlock Plus
- Download Statusbar
- ForecastFox
- Yahoo! mail notifier
- BugMeNot
- Web Developer toolbar (this one is real handy if you do web development only)

I didn't notice any difference in launch time. The only add-on I have is something to download youtube videos.

Just downloaded v3 today and it's awesome. Much faster and handles pages with a large amount of content much better.

Wish I would have downloaded it sooner
