Maybe you didn't watch the press conference. Or, maybe he doesn't want to play basketball anymore. Or, he simply doesn't care about winning championships because it's not like he didn't openly request a trade before the Gasol deal. Hmm, i'm not sure about this one.

This year, Kobe didnt need to make that many points to reach the Finals. But overall...Dirk and Kobe both couldnt do it in the finals...so take whatever games you want...both had the same outcome...a finals beating.

Kobe losing to the Celtics is in no way comparable to Dirk losing to the Heat.
The Celtics were simply a superior team to the Lakers. Can you say the same about the Heat compared to the Mavs?

I do think some spurs fans are wayyyyy overly obsessive with dissing Kobe. And quite a few spurs fans here are simply just insecure about their team or something. Not sure what, or why because the Spurs have won 4 les in the past 9 years, so its quite childish to sit around and just take cheap shots at the opponents of the spurs for no reason. I mean I can understand sometimes joking or taking a jab, as i make fun of Shaq (whom i have a disdain for) from time to time, but not quite like spurs fans who make a new thread bashing Kobe every other day, or bashing Dirk every other day like they did back when the Spurs lost to the Mavs. It's ridiculous to sit around and talk every day about someone just because they beat your favorite team. Just accept the loss, and move the on.

its funny from time to time, but when 10 threads a day are created just because some fans have hard feelings about their team getting beat in the playoffs, thats ridiculous. there has always been some Kobe hate here, but ever since the Lakers beat the Spurs, its been absolutely insane. back when the Mavs beat the Spurs, there was endless talking about Dirk, whereas now, 2 years later, virtually all spurs fans have nothing but respect and good things to say about him (and a several of them were the same fans that would create 400 stupid-ass threads talking about him, kinda like the threads being created nowadays about Kobe)why not laugh about it? why get all wet about it and take it personally like we're talking about ur mom or something. i dont get mad at people making fun of something. i get mad at people who say things that are stupid and act like they know what theyre talking about.

as soon as the Hornets took that 3-1 lead earlier in the playoffs, there was constant talking about Chris Paul, whereas now, you dont see a single word being said about him. virtually every game that the Spurs lose during the season, there is a thread or two made about some player that maybe committed a hard foul, or was trash talking in the game, and about how he deserves a suspension, or threads taking shots at their personal lives, or some stupid like that. to me, its as if some spurs fans take it personally when someone talks to their team, or if their team loses. i hate it when fans do that, period, of any team including mavs fans whom ive seen do it in this forum as well.
the only thing this proves is that my 5 year old nephew is better freestyler than Shaq

i do agree with you that i dont like hypocrites or flip-flopers but if you dont like somebody then what can you do about it. you mean to tell me that if your team plays the Spurs you dont get up off your couch and say curse words at Duncan,parker or ginobili or Bowen? please,everyone does it. it just so happens here at ST we like to express our thoughts on the internet. and as for Dirk. we just didnt like when he used to make shots and stick his stupid tongue out like a re . also when he made a 3 pointer one time and he started stomping around like a gorilla afterwards. stuff like that deserves to be mocked and laughed at.

i never said no one can say anything. i just stated my opinion that some spurs fans here are way too sensitive over their team. i also said fans of other teams do the same things. it all bugs me period. i never once told anyone to stop, or not to do it. like you said... freedom of speech. i said whats on my mind, so off.
or about duncan, bowen, and parker thinking they are the most innocent human beings since Jesus Christ every time they commit a blatant foul or traveling violation? their stuff deserves to be mocked and laughed at just as much as anything Dirk does. i hope i never see you attempting to defend them over that, otherwise you would look like quite a hypocrite.
