Well, it's been 4&1/2 years, so... Cut Q-Pon, and start cycling D-leaguer's on 10 Days. We can start with Caboclo.
With houston lack of players, it’s strange that they did not sign him or bring him To their team if he is good.

    Spurs beat the Lakers tonight:

Huestis was in the starting lineup, played 31 minutes (good for conditioning) but didn't shoot well 0-5.

I just read this article on Bruno Caboclo, who is currently playing for Houston's G-League team:

    https://www.ridiculousupside.com/201...-valley-vipers

Seems like he could be a decent 3-and-D small forward in the NBA:

    • Shooting 42% from 3 this year in the G-League on 5.6 attempts per game
    • Other stats: 16 pts, 7.1 reb, 1.1 ast, 1.1 stl, 3 blk, 51% fg
    • Frontrunner for G-League defensive player of the year (according to the article), can guard multiple positions
    • Is 6' 9" and athletic, 23 years old

I'm wondering if the Spurs could somehow sign this guy and make something out of him a la Danny Green?

Thanks gor posting. Lonnie with 4 for 4 at 3pt. I mean if he could do that, why hasn’t he been called up? Hitting open shots especially 3pts and defense should buy him the minutes, right?

Looks intriguing. He was dubbed The Brazilian Durant Hey he got the length, athleticism, 3pt range, still 22 yrs old. Very raw when he entered the draft in 2014, but seemed to have polished his skills. I’d take him instead of Dante, Q-Pon tbh

his shooting mechanics are excellent, it is only a matter of time until his shoot is consisted, he still has the highest ceiling of any guard in SA

The Spurs have always favored players with long arms because it fits well in the way they play defense.

Surely the Spurs have a system that can develop this kind of a player. WTF are they waiting for?

7’7” wingspan who can shoot. Why hasn’t anybody taken him? I know he didn’t shoot well in the past, but seemed to have found his stroke.

Yes. Their combine measurements are about as close as can be, except Lonnie is bulkier.

exactly and that could be strange, because as you said Lonnie is bulkier so we could think he's shorter than murray.

Really like what i see from Walker, not that i think he is ready yet but the way he is shooting is good, plus he looks a little bit more focused on others areas.

He does actually have shorter arms than Murray - they have the same wingspan overall, but Lonnie's shoulders are wider, thus his arms are shorter. Still got plenty of wingspan for his height though.

Man, watching last night's game -- Trice is everything you want in a point guard at this level. Really good trade.
