Fair enough... if you like severe plot holes, ty acting and a woeful ending then that is okay. Also why is it called The Dark Knight Rises, there was nothing dark like The Dark Knight, if anything it was trying to hard to appeal to a bigger audience and went soft

There's nothing dark in it? A terrorist using a bomb to bring a city into anarchy for five months isn't dark? And Batman is also called The Dark Knight, so even if the movie wasn't dark, the le would still make sense.
And what was wrong with the acting? I can think of one or two instances of bad acting, but overall, I thought the acting was solid.

Wow... how exciting. How do you address the significant plot holes littered through the film? And the unbelievably stupid scenes such as punching verterbrae back in and wasting so much ing time climbing out of a hole for example.
The acting was okay but just ty but some - Anne Hathaway for example is in every film she is in
I saw it on netflix last year and saw it again last night. Tyson is awesome
The dictator 1/10
what a movie
It's Kind of a Funny Story 7/10
Finally saw it and it was interesting and entertaining. I viewed it as a dramedy. It had funny parts and sad parts.
DId I just read that ?
The Dark Knight is Batman's nickname you moron; get a clue
And I'm sorry if you expected a remake of TDK and another Ledger, then you are pretty stupid, because GOyer and Nolan did a great job with the Bat-universe
Trainspotting. 10/10
Out of nowhere I wanted to rewatch it and it was awesome. The Edinburgh accent is sometimes hard to understand, but Trainspotting is a killer movie.
The Hunger Games 8/10
I didn't expect that I would like it, but I did.
Melancholia 7.5/10
Saw it for a second time.
Trippy movie. I like.
I thought the acting was pretty good; Hardy and Caine were especially great.
Kurt has shown he knows little to nothing about The Batman.
If they go w/ Levitt's Robin Blake as Batman in the next series I like that he's a detective. One of the original qualities of Bruce Wayne that wasn't really focused on much in the Nolan films was how smart Bruce was - did actual detective work on cases; not just beating people up. In fact, the full nickname for Batman is The Dark Knight Detective & his first appearance was in Detective Comics.
Yeah this is one of the few things Nolan and his people missed.
I'm guessing time constraints kept them from expanding on Bruce's detective savvy.
There was a little bit in TDK with the bullet reconstruction, but that was almost more about the technology than the "detecting".
Yes we've established I know very little about Batman but yes I was expecting it to be as good as Batman Begins and The Dark Knight but it was almost a completely different thing. We just keep thinking Oh its by Nolan, its ing awesome looking at it with one eye. I love Nolan but the amount of stupidity and plot holes in it was too much to handle
You've said that repeatedly without ever, to my recollection, expanding on what those plot holes were.
Everyone's en led to an opinion, of course. And if you didn't like it, you didn't like it. But from what you've posted here, it seems more like you've taken a negative opinion for the sake of being contrarian. Which is no different/better than the people who blindly praise the movie for its Nolan connections.
Not this again!!!
How bout keeping the cops alive underground just so he can blow them up later? Whats the point of that?
Or the cops and bad guys not using their guns in the big climactic fight scene? Did they forget they had them?
Or Bruce Wayne faking his death for no apparent reason? Faking batman's death makes sense, but no need to kill off bruce wayne. Nolan just loves his big "reveals" at the end so he hastily constructs a "misdirection" when it makes no sense as far as the story is concerned.
Or Bane hating batman for betraying the league of shadows, the same organization that kicked Bane out for saving the leader's daughter? They should have been best buddies since they were both screwed over.
Or Batman's bad knee suddenly recovering on its own in a prison? No electronic assist needed to make the "super jump"!
Or "Mal's" desire to fulfill her fathers dream, yet her fathers dream was to destroy a city full of evil, which was no longer the case since Gordon had gotten rid of crime in the city? Plus why would she want to help out Daddy when he banishes the dude that saved her life?
Or the absurd "maybe we can prove fraud" line? By far, the most quotable line from the entire film. As if the dozen dead people and video of terrorists shooting up the stock exchange isnt enough to prove fraud?
Or the "bomb" having a timer on it despite not being designed to be used as a bomb?
Or Bane not detonating the bomb when he found out that military sent in special forces (that he killed) and he vowed he would detonate the bomb if they did?
Or "Mal" not turning in "robin" and his underground buddies to Bane?
Yeah...plot holes. Lots and lots of them.
I wasn't asking for your plot holes.
Loved the Batman trilogy, Memento, Prestige, but I still hate Inception
Yeah I liked all them, just not TDKR so much. Why didn't you like Inception?
I really don't want to watch the film again but so often in that film I would think that was stupid or umm what...?
You're making a very interesting assumption saying I purely didn't like it to be different... How would you explain me liking Batman Begins or TDK if I wanted to be different. I didn't like the film just because I didn't. There is many reasons and it sure wasn't to be different. What kind of person doesn't like a film purely to be different anyway?
Idk
It was just meh ...
An ok movie, nothing more
Maybe I hate the fact it was overhyped
Yeah I see where you're coming from, overhyped movies are annoying.
Personally, I liked it but I can understand why some people didn't
One overhyped movie I really didn't like was 500 days of Summer, people told me it was the best comedy they'd ever seen... hmm
I do that all the time.
Most often when an actor I dont like is in that particular movie.
Take Chris Evans for example, he comes off as a major to me so I often avoid the movie he's in.
I would often badmouth a movie just because he's in whether the movie is good or bad.
