Don't get what else Kobe could do. I'm the biggest doubter of him, but he played great. Bad turnover, but that was about the only thing you can fault him on.

If Kobe had a good knee he makes that shot obviously ..WARRIOR for attempting to play through it .

If Terry plays both halfs/halves(?) of the next game this series may indeed kick into another gear of intrigue. Dirk made some clutch jumpers.

Yeah. Too many Lakers played small tonight. I think the Lakers can handle two starters playing like trash, but not three.

All in all, not really a terrible game by LA though, just frustratingly incomplete. Even a win there wouldn't have felt too satisfying... but I'd rather have the W all the same.

More Marion on Kidd down the stretch, less Kidd. If he wants to, Kobe can get any shot he wants to on Kidd (minus flopping before getting the ball) but Marion makes the degree of difficulty on those shots a little tough with his length and footwork on defense.

This i agree with. A close win gives PJ a reason to stay on them but we still have a win. Now we need Games 2 and 3 ...

Do you know what the Lakers' record is when Kobe goes for 30+?

Kobe's 30 points were NOT the reason we lost ...

My guess the next game will be less uptempo ...

Good game Mavs. It seemed like Nowitski shot 90% in this game.

Don't get all stoked though. Lakers learn their opponents over time and they will figure out how to defend you.

Coming back from a 16pt deficit is surely going to boost the Mavs confidence.

    Dirk is unstoppable.

Artest played like for the first time this playoffs.

Kobe shot the ball better than normal.

Mavs bigs give Bynum and Gasol trouble.

Sounds like all hope for LA rest on LO.Yikes

This looks like a better series than I initially thought.

Nice to see Chandler not in foul trouble a third of the way into the 2nd quarter.

No excuses. Key Lakers (Bynum and Gagisil) and the up and down bench cost us the win. That inexcusable over the back foul by Gasol was stupidity personified. What the has happened to the guy. Kobe did his part...that bench gave up the lead like bin Laden bled last night.
