Bertans or Benson.
Now I'm just hoping to see Scotty Hopson go 60.
Bertans or Benson.
I bet these gots take Selby.
This is true. I do see it as rebuilding though. Theres nothing to say that a mid-season dramatic trade involving Parker is out of the question, or that Duncan is coming back after next season (which means we will suck and get a high draft pick after that season).
These two picks from tonight will be hitting their stride. Who knows?
I see what yall are saying but I do see it as rebuilding.
What I also want to mention is that if the Spurs were not so god-damned stupid with their European draft strategy in the Scola era, we would be, for lack of a better word, pretty stacked.
Spurs draft strategy is on the right track now. Can't about that.
Lakers pick Morris. Bertans still there if Spurs want him.
Morris to LAL.
No commercial break? WTF?
Bertans is there if they want him. (Wasn't the rumor that they promised to take him at 29?)
I was just horsing around. Trying to come to grips with how seriously ed we are. I really thought Cleveland might take RJ with Jordan Hamilton. But no, nobody else is going to be interested in giving Joseph first round money.
I also said earlier that I don't think Lorbek is even interested in the NBA.
We are so screwed. Re-building, but not committed to re-building.
I'd really like to see them take Bertans here. Great second round value for a stash.
here we go
Drum roll please. The Spurs pick.........
From what other have said, he has a NBA friendly contract. He will be a free agent next summer and has a reasonable buyout for this summer.
The big question mark is about his motivation to come overseas. Playing for Spurs should motivate him more than playing for Pacers.
this Pick should be the Spurs shouldn't it?
They still have Pacers on the board for #42.
Holy crap! Bertans really could be available at 42! *fingers crossed*
Fair enough, but why replace redundancy with mediocrity? Couldn't they have explored the option of gaining a front court player in return? Heck, they could have asked for Josh McRoberts for Hill + the 42.. and swapped 15 and 29.
The trade doesn't mean we're rebuilding.
People need to look at it as Anderson/Leonard for Hill. Think time will prove that to be an upgrade for us.
CROFL They did the commercial break!!!
