I have a great idea. Since it has already been proven that Pop is an excellent coach during the regular season, just look at the past three seasons, the FO should replace Pop come playoff time with someone younger and hungrier. Pop has proven that he chokes during the postseason.

Pop is a good regular season coach because he is good at managing player minutes and developing players. Pop can coach the regualr season then come playoff time, Tom Thibodeau or Avery Johnson can take over so that Pop won't up a championship like he has for the past six years.

I still feel the same way as I said after the Finals, I'd rather Duncan take over the coaching in crunch time, make him a player/coach (if that's possible). This won't happen, but I trust Duncan's decision making in crunch time infinitely more than Pop ting his pants again.
