all in all, we're ok... all the games we lost we were right in them pretty much to the end (I think the Pelicans might've been the only exception)... no blowout loss yet, and we're going to get better...

Kawhi was paying homage to Kobe with that final shot he took.

    Then stop watching.
Almost wish you wouldn't have quoted him. One of two guys I've got ignored...

Dude is the ultimate pessimist. He hates the Spurs...only shows up when we lose.

there wasn't even a play designed ... i like it better when pop drew up plays for danny or marco
Not sure what Pop thought Kawhi could do when Butler was hugging Kawhi. He could not get separation, as expected. It was too tough because the 3 was expected, but run a screen or something, maybe a mistake occurs like our blunder against the Wiz...

ty play call by Pop, too.

How so? Don't you want to measure yourself to the very best?
Yeah you do, but to say X team played well against X team on 1 night, and we didn't do as well on 1 night, it doesn't really paint a proper picture, tbh

Factor in GS played them at home and we played them away, it makes it even less of a picture tbh

    Tbh

what a great play call, almost as good as the alley oop call to Kawhi against LA.
Is Pop letting Messina draw up plays this season? has looked awful.

Just one game, it happens. Only thing that annoys me is 3 of our 4 of our losses have come in the final minute of close games. Would rather just get blown out instead of wasting our old player's efforts in last-second losses.

What makes this more frustrating is how easily the Dubs beat these guys a couple weeks ago. Spurs have a ways to go despite a great record.
That's like comparing apples to oranges. The Spurs play a different style and are currently in the midst of an iden y change. Though the Bulls are under a changing scheme, they showed today that they can still play that ugly physical brand of basketball...unfortunately they were physical just enough to bother our bigs in the interior and that's not even mentioning how great Butler was defending on the perimeter.

The Warriors are on a hot street right now. When those shots stop falling down, teams will start to defend them a little better. Teams that are smart enough will punish them inside.

Is not the end of the world guys.

likenisaid earlier... Ginobili is old and he looks old. We don't win championships in November or December. Sit him every other week to couple of weeks and keep him fresh. We need him in get playoffs. This serves two purposes... It preserves manu(who very clearly only has spurts of quality play) and helps develop a guy like Simmons. We wil need the combination of the two come playoff time as you can't count on manu night in and night out.

i thought maybe kawhi would go for the quick 2 if the defense was playing him that tight

    Absolutely.

And these are the types of games that will teach us. This is in no way a set group and we need to be reminded.
Now is a good time, not the last game of the reg season against the Pelicans.

Lol at Buford relying on Duncan to not age for his post play. LMA is out of shape and West is old and small. Letting go of Baynes is the second biggest mistake he's ever made behind signing RJ.
Are we talking about the same Baynes that got anally raped by Blake in the playoffs & got benched for Bonner.

2nd best team in the nba...........last in freethrow attempts per game? something doesn't add up here. Last I checked, SAS was winning this . The happened?
We don't have anyone can drive and draw fouls consistently besides Manu, but he's old. Parker, even in his heydey, didnt go to the the freethrow line much. Kawhi needs to work on his handles more if he's ever going to be a great slasher. He makes up for it with a great post game, but if he wants to take his game to the next level offensively, that's what he needs to do.
