If Kawhi dropped his pants right now and took a dump on the court, it would come out as pure gold and smell of flowers and bounce off the wooden court and fall into the basket with a ding sound.

Kawhi Leonard is now 39-of-77 from 3-point range this year. That's 51%. And he's the best defender in the league & unstoppable from midrange

This is what most of us have been saying. Kawhi is best when he plays within his role. Three and D.

    Awesome job Kawhi.
    Check out this got.

What a beast Lamarcus on the boards. He is a handful to box out. That is where all his strength helps.

I think you are right in this and have thought that watching the games...the problem is, it just cannot happen. We are not gonna make Timmy or LMA either one come off the bench. If Pop could stagger them better like he used to with Timmy and Splitter I think we wold have a better first and second squad, but as others have pointed out, LMA's rebounding and size have really helped us this year.

I just think we will see a much smoother first unit after the all-star break if we can all stay healthy.
Despite what most believe, Timmy can come off the bench if Manu can. It is the answer now, and that will definitely be his role if he chooses to play another year or two. He and LMA are too similar in strengths/weaknesses AND especially in where they like to be on the floor - and therefore how the floor gets spaced. Plus it relieves the West/Diaw problem.

The way the Spurs are playing D ensures they're going to be in every game. On nights they get hot, they'll blow people out.

Pop could also just not want to stagger them at this point bc of the chemistry building process. They are still figuring it out. Boris can work with any other big, but TD and Lamarcus are particular about their spots and shots and stuff.

Simmons fouls, those are the rookie mistakes that make it so Pop won't play him over Danny ppl.

I agree with your assessment that both the first and second squads would be better with your suggestion...I just don't think that Pop can do it.
