I firmly believe the Spurs need to lose like this to show them they just cant walk on the court and win cuz they are the Spurs. Manu... love you but you played like tonite, you better make up for it ntxt game. He usually does, he is a proud warrior. dont let us down Manu !!!!

Yeah, throw it to Tim Duncan, standing behind him, behind the three point line, with 3 left on the shot clock. Good call.

would have been better then what happened
duncan would have made one of 2 free throws
    anyhow

but no spurs lose the ball not forcing the queens to foul

pop had to give it to manu who was making bad decesions all night with his passing

why pop do you not trust anyone else

That's two games in row where the Spurs ed up badly and got outhustled.
one game lucky, another game unlucky.

How is anyone surprised, again? We had Bennet Salvatore, probably the league's worst referee, officiating tonight. So the calls were pretty lousy both ways.

The game basically came down to us (1) not getting the stops--again--when it matters, and (2) Manu and his crappy game.

Relax guys. It's only Sac, not Dallas or Detroit. And we are still up 2-1, not down. As long as show up on time for Game 4 (and wait till the 3rd or 4th quarter), we are still ok.

Two 1-point finishes already, and the 3rd heading same direction. Too bad I have no ESPN

Actually the game came down to us getting waxed on the boards. How the do you let the other team's starting 2guard, the ing SHOOTING GUARD, get 14 rebounds, 9 of them offensive? He's a ing *guard*

Seriously, am I the only one who thought it was a mistake to have Manu with the ball right there with the way he had been playing tonight? Parker is the best ball-handler.
    I don't get it. .
MANU just had a habit of HOLDING on to the ball too long and dribbling in traffic -- forcing the action!!!!!

I thought that Bibby did interfere with the net.

SPURS WILL WIN on Sunday as I said earlier!!!!!!

I am proud of some of the guys for competing tonight!

i thought the game was called fair, and yes you have to expect the refs to suddenly lose their wissles, maybe duncan should remember that next time.

Pop should have taken Manu out and givin it to Barry or Parker...or have him pass it.

Manu lost this one on the Kings Homecourt. We can't count on the calls going our way.

This lost is the most bitter loss, especially when Tim was carrying us. This is the second time he's had a breakout game come as a wasted effort.

God Damn I need a drink! I love playofff basketball.

I ain't gonna lie Sac took it to them in the final minutes but Tim and Fin kept us in it. Bad play by Manu in the end and good job by Martin to get the ball in. Congrats to the Kings and hopefully Spurs will come out next game motivated and not having to come back from a large defecit.

To an extent I agree with you. He was dribbling around senselessly near the end. After a while they should have dumped it into Tim in the post...say with 6 seconds left on the shot clock. But Manu made another one of his wreckless drives and was stripped pretty cleanly.

HOWEVER, Manu is the best FT shooter/ballhandler on the team in the clutch and that's why Pop gave it to him first. Tim should have taken the shot though IMO, he was unstobable tonight.

I think it does play for good of the spurs, they woke Tim up, manu and tony couldn't play any more horribly. We'll take the next 2.
ahh , for those complaining about manu handling the ball in the last play.
That's the ing reason why there's a third championship banner at the ATT center dumb s.

I don't think Manu will play well, I think Artest and the Kings have his number, I wouldn't expect Manu to score thirty again against the Kings...

Manu has won too many games with the ball in his hands in the final seconds,

    incorrect security? Maybe.

IMO Finley should've had it in case he was fouled.

, do a 4 down, at least Tim would make 1 of 2 forcing them to make a 2 or a 3 to do anything.

    Oh well.

Damn I hate losses like this.

    So much second guessing.

    I HATE second guessing.

I am disappointed about the loss but I know it will be good in the long run. I expect the Spurs to play bad ass the next 2 games and win the series in SA Game 5.

So wait, there are actually some Homers here who think the guy that had SEVEN ING TURNOVERS should have been handling the ball at the end of the game?

I know Gino will usually be in that position at the end of a game, but not tonight. Tony is the best ball handler, and even though he wasn't shooting well from the field he is like 20 of 21 on free throws for the series. Tony should have had point.

Ridiculous decision making and execution down the stretch. At least we took Kings to the wire at home, with noone else playing but Duncan and Finley, and noone really nailing too many threes. We'll catch em in game four. We certainly cannot play any worse than we did tonight.
