terry saved the day for the mavs in game 1 not dirk either
dirk is sucking
yeah im going to be laughing just as hard as you are crying come tuesday night when the mavs lose it all.... cheaters never prosper!![]()
From what I've seen so far, Dirk better not get MVP if the mavs do win. Should go to Terry, though I know it won't. Of course MVP can go to the losing team (or at least it could at some time in the past).
the MVP will be dwyane tyrone wade A.K.A. the FLASH!!!!!!!!!!!
shaq could also get it,if it wasnt for his game 2 performance......
Yeah, KVH had as many points as Shaq in that game.![]()

Please explain to me how the Mavs "cheated"...![]()
My Chicago trip sucked, but watching Dirk without his bib at the end of the game was my highlight. Another late game special.
I agree, but there's a lot of hoops left to be played and yes, Wade could get it even if the Mavs win the le.
Mavs are going full force ahead. I doubt the Heat can keep up with the re-energized mavs. The mavs will come out like game 7 against the spurs. Book it.
Wade has the mvp so far hands down, but I don't think there will ever be a player on the losing team win the finals mvp again. Just don't see it happening.
Salvatore just getting warmed up.
Walker 2 fouls out
Haslem 2 fouls out
I admit I wasn't really listening, but did Dirk just say his father considered basketball a women's sport? And weren't we also informed earlier in this series that Dirk's father wanted him to play handball? I just find it weird that someone would consider handball "manlier" than basketball. Did anyone else hear this?
Hubie doesn't beelieve the refs make a bad call apparently.
Okay, so if Griffin couldn't help out his mama with algebra, then how did HE graduate high school?
it's because the NBA award isn't like the NHL. In the NHL they award mvp for the whole playoffs, in the NBA, just the finals. And also, for a losing player to be the MVP, it has to be like a major upset situation, like a star player dragging a 7 seed all the way to game 7 of the finals against a heavily favored 65 win team from the other conference or something. And then he'd have to average like 40 a night in the finals...
Shaq with his patented And-None
It has happened before and I don't think many disagreed with the decision. Here are his numbers
1969 -- Jerry West, Los Angeles
Averaged 30.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 7.5 assists in 18 playoff games as the Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics, 4-3.
He averaged 37.9 pts in the NBA FINALS. Not bad. I still think Havlicek should have won the award, but Damn () West was dominant enough to win it.
If Chauncey ing Billups can win it, Jason Terry can.
Jason Terry might need to be guarded. Just an idea for the heat
Refs making up for Stackhouse being gone....putting fouls on Walker and Haslem. With them out, Mavs made a run.
It's not the refs, Howard and Terry are just taking it to the Heat.
