    Fisher with 3 fouls.
    Farmar with 3 fouls.
    Vujacic with 3 fouls.

    Thank god Kobe has 0.
    Doesn't a rape count as a foul?

Brent Barry was the best player on the court for either team.

Gasol's outplaying Duncan, which you can't expect to continue. Bryant and Odom up and down, nothing from the bench on either side...

If the Spurs make more of an effort on the glass they'll win the game. The refs have been fairly even - only three or four calls toward the home team on net - and I doubt they'll bend over backwards to help the Lakers down the stretch.

EVERY freakin loose ball has gone to them. WTF is that about???
They are just outhustling the Spurs on the boards...and that is the difference in this game...the Spurs could be up 6 instead of down 6 right now. They just need to make some adjustments...maybe put Udoka on Walton...Manu can't stop Walton...he's way too big.

Not to worry...Pop will fix what's broken...the Spurs will still win this game...no worries...

The Spurs are playing a horrible game, they are only in this because of the free throw line. And they only got to the free throw line because the refs decided to call ticky tacks on the Lakers and let everything else slide on the other end.

It's almost not worth getting out to a big lead early against SAS. The refs will always let the Spurs back into the game.
The Lakers made a living off of Shaq getting big men and whole teams into foul trouble and have the rings to show for it. Suck it up and enjoy L.A. hopefully temporary lead.

The Spurs better win this 2nd half by 7 points or more. If they don't, their season is over. Kaputz. No repeat. You gotta' repeat at least once if you want to throw the word "Dynasty" around.

So, we began this game with the ASSUMPTION that we would make a third quarter run to get back into the game.

Huge gamble down 2-1 with Lakers having homecourt advantage and going back to Staples.

    Hope the Spurs are lucky.

    And why was this necessary?

Why building this kind of ditch for yourself, Spurs?

Do you just not want to win?

That's what it looks like, especially given the rebounding difference.

Tim only has FOUR rebounds...and he's once again missing easy shots around the basket. This bull needs to stop.

Manu no points, but at least he has one rebound.

    Finley is just straight zeros!

That's not true, Finley's got a turnover too.

Manu had 22 pts in the 1st half of game 3.

Manu will have at least 20 pts in the 2nd half tonight

    Book it

It's getting to the point where I feel physically sick every time I see Finley on the court.
it just makes me want to hit Pop in the head with a baseball bat

The Lakers aren't really doing anything to beat us. We're beating ourselves. Again, just a couple of lucky shots here and there for the Lakers.
I wouldn't say lucky shots, because that could be said for the spurs as well.

I think it's just the Lakers working harder for the rebounds and running for loose balls.

It's the 17/17 FT's for the Spurs that are keeping them in the game.

WHO THE CARES ABOUT SHAQ? How does that have any impact on THIS game you dumb mother er?

The calls are finally starting to even out, so I'll shutup. But that lead should be at least 15-20, and not 6.

    What is weird to me...

Lakers are outrebounding them, with +14 in second chance points and we are only up 6. WHY?

I know why... Lamar Odom out with 3 fouls, sSashas, out with 3 fouls, FIsher out with 3 fouls.

Lakers dominated the Spurs even through the home cooking. Lets hope its not as blatant in the 2nd half as it is in the first.

-Thank the basketball gods for these refs.

    -Please get a damn rebound.

    -Please get a !@#$ing rebound.

-If Manu is not going to score or defend, at least rebound. Thanks in advance.

-Duncan has to take it up stronger.
