Jimmy getting his 1st ring >>>>> Lebron getting an easy 5th ring because Tatum and Brown shriveled up once against.
Hum, no. Denver is the better team and Miami has no anwser for Jokic. no one has. Denver in 5-6, maybe a sweep even . Celtics are just terrible.
Jimmy getting his 1st ring >>>>> Lebron getting an easy 5th ring because Tatum and Brown shriveled up once against.
Heat have Bam. He is going to fluster Jokic. Denver is a soft team that hasn’t played a team like Miami. Denver has no answer for Butler either. And Herro is going to be back.
Lmao. Wemby has more athleticism in his thumb than Porzingis has in his entire body.
Agreed.
Unlike the Eastern pretenders, Nuggets don't go AWOL when things get tough.
Murray and Butler will cancel each other out.
If you really think Bam can do the same to Jokic then pass me whatever the you're smoking m8.
Who the has Denver played? The imploding Wolves? An overrated Suns team? The Lakers with a washed up Lebron? Miami has played better compe ion. Denver is facing a different beast than the bull they have faced so far
Heat have played a bunch of mental midgets.
Bucks were their only real comp and they shot themselves in the foot load managing Giannis, assuming he was healthy enough to play.
Spolestra made “Playoff” Jimmy like the rest of their journeymen roster (dude was bamma Sprewell) meanwhile Nick Nurse got canned when he couldn’t ride Kiwi’s coattails & Pop couldn’t win a series after replacing him with 10x all-star DeRozan.
Bam couldn’t guard Brook Lopez & Herro is D-Lo status![]()
Gabe is that dude tonight
Heard Bucks in 5, Knicks in 6, and Celts in 6. Now Denver in 4?I can’t wait for the Heat to bring the le back to Miami and start their dynasty run. I’m thinking 2 more les after this one.
Nugs in 6, tbh.
Agreed with the statement above.
I think Bam gonna get tired of that big sweaty back and shoulder pushing on him all series
Bam is the best defensive bigman in the league. I even see him attacking Jokic on offense and putting him in foul trouble.
Good to have mono in T2Z avatar.![]()
Problem with Jokic isn't that Bam can't do a good job defending his scoring. Doubtful but maybe he can. The problem is Jokic doesn't need to score to impact the game. Bam can fluster Jokic all he wants. Joker will shoot it like 10-12 times, not force it, and have like 15 assists because he doesn't "need" to get his scoring numbers like other star players in the league. He'd be perfectly content scoring 12 points on 4-for-9 shooting while collecting 15 assists, 15 rebounds and his team winning.
At a coach "making a player", especially an established All-NBA caliber one who joined them going on 30.
DeFrozen is a pseudo All-Star who inexplicably racked up appearances in a weak East because of the Craptors insecure fan base voting him in a few times and coaches rewarding him because he's not the diva most superstars and stars are.
Eric Spoelstra didn’t give Jimmy Butler that fire inside. He already had it.
But there is a reason down the stretch in Games 1 and 2 why Miami knew exactly what they wanted to do and how to do it on both ends of the floor while Boston flailed and just hoped for the best, and that reason is the difference between Eric Spoelstra and Joe Mazzulla.
Wow. Epic choke collapse
And I mean NBA network executives. Nuggets vs Heat in 6 gamers![]()
They give the ball to Butler, who plays high/spread p-n-r. If you have a slow footed big or small guard, he'll seek him out . . . you know, the same thing everyone who has that type of player does.
The Celtics have done this for 3 coaches now. It doesn't have anything to do with them. The reality is, Tatum and Brown would be better off as finishers than creators, but they don't have a lead playmaker period, let alone one of stature to put them in that role.
I’m curious why you think the Celtics went in one season from a team that beat the top-seeded Heat in a 7-game series to one that had absolutely no answers on how to generate any offense past the 6-minute mark in Games 1 and 2, that watched Jimmy Butler dissect them possession after possession without making any adjustments, and that tonight just totally quit. What’s changed? Because to me the most obvious change in Boston is the coach.
