No I thought all these teams already have a draft board, they know who they want and who is left. Every team used the whole clock. This had to be the longest draft.No one answered my question.

I was so happy when he dropped to 9, but I was in shock when we selected Ginn.
I dont know what to say other than I hope the scouts know something I dont. If Quinn pans out for the Browns, it will be an everlasting Dolphin draft blunder.

Well, the ing raiders have been preparing Draft boards since November
They've prob gone through 500 different mocks and situations.
Christ, 5 mins, make the pick, move on.

So many things are going on in the first round that teams sometimes do need the entire 15 minutes. Teams are calling in for trades, 2 players are about even on the draft board, i can understand the 15 minutes. Teams are putting their futures on the line. The ing Raiders should have just made the pick right away though. them.
My suggestion would be to have a set amount of time for teams ENTIRE draft. 30 minutes total for all of your picks, and a 15 minute max for anyone pick. Something like that.
I can understand some of that, but you should be prepared before draft day. And if two guys are even on the board, you should have already broken it down as far as team needs and best available.
Jerry Jones and Phil Savage must be in love... just pulled off their 3rd draft trade with each other.
you can be prepared as you want to be, but you never know what is going to happen. Tedd Ginn going #9 probably messed with a lot of teams draft boards. 15 minutes flys by for those teams in the war rooms. I can guarantee you that.

I just woke up to find the Cowboys didnt pick Mason Crosby and instead picked some kicker Ive never heard of from Arizona, picked a qb that will probably get turned into a reciever, a fullback, a cornerback that used to be a reciever, and some lineman Ive never heard of. Im not to happy with the second day. Maybe its just because I woke up hung over, maybe I will like the picks later on but I doubt it

I like a shaun Phillips, Merriman, Cooper and siler as the 4 in the 3-4.
Siler and Waters in the same draft? Unbelievable. How did Siler fall so far?
guess they thought he checked out at a lower grade than other ILBs
Sorry to be a hater, but what makes the Cowboys so damn good? They have a QB that turned a few good games into a pro bowl appearance and a trip to Carrie's underwoods, and then choked when his team needed him most. A VERY suspect secondary with probably the worst coverage safety in the league. ONE good pass rush threat, and not a single decent defensive lineman. An offensive line that is counting on LEONARD ING DAVIS to turn help turn it around. They rode a hall of fame coach to the playoffs last year, and are going to take some steps back with Wade "I'm Happy To Be Here" Phillips. And another fantastic job by Jerry Jones of picking gems on the second day of the draft. Oh, and TO is in his 2nd season with the Pokes. Just ask the Eagles how he works out his 2nd season, and that was with a team coming off a Super Bowl.

ah man, anyone that has been posting on this site for any extended amount of time knows I give the Cowboys , and they give my Broncos right back. These guys in this thread are just sensitive. I need Scott to come in here and put the Broncs down somehow.
