Being aggressive doesn't mean you're not going to committ fouls dumb .
Losing on the boards and on hustle plays is not a good sign. Either the Spurs were conserving energy for a second half burst, or they're so low on energy already that they can't get the hustle up.

This series is over, no matter if the Lakers win or lose this game.
They can bring this kind of energy every night, they are young and in great shape. The Spurs can't, and as this series goes on it will get worse. Right now Barry, Manu, and Finley are huge defensive liabilities.

Agreed....and this is comnig from an objective Spurs fan. Lakers taking jumpers and getting offensive put-backs, Spurs are driving to the bucket and missing their jumpers. There's your game thus far. Glad SA is only down by 6 at half.

As a Laker fan you have to be worried because Tim has 14 points playing poorly. Also leads the team with 4 rebounds and only has 2 fouls.

LAL interior D is much better tonight. Those long arms are getting in the way. Having said that we just have got to make those shots and take care of the ball. Too many foolish mistakes tonight. If we don't clean this up in the 3rd Q we could be looking at a 10 point deficit. Or more.
The Laker energy and defense are making them play the way they are playing. Jackson is right, refs got the Spurs back in the in the first. That was clearly a travel by Duncan.

Again, the Lakers' last 3 rings came in large part due to the league's love affair with Shaq...he fouled entire teams out. You said Spurs fans should never complain about fouls going forward...Laker fans shouldn't be ing either given their recent history.
Huh? All Im saying is the Spurs seem to be more aggressive on the offensive zone but not in their own zone. If Finley or Horry could make a shot to save their life it could be a different game.

Finley should retire at the end of the 3rd quarter.
That was one of the most frustrating halfs ive ever watched.
If the lakers can come back from 20 and beat us at home... then we surely should be able to come back from 6.
If not, we dont deserve to win the series, i dont care how we lose.
