Therefore, I don't see how this sets back the team into mediocrity. Now if they traded Parker for that crap pile of trade to the Kings then I'd agree with you.

    This move could improve the Spurs in many areas. Only time will tell.

    Actually, when you think about it, this works out well. Bertans is not locked into a first-round salary, had we taken him with the 29th. Spurs can negotiate with him.
