OKC's event creation on defense is so good. I'd like to see us model our defensive philosophy around this, and I think we have a pretty good existing base to work off of for this.

Wemby is obviously a stocks monster, but Fox is also very good at steals generation, Castle is theoretically good at this, and this is actually one of Vassell's strong suits on the defensive end. After we acquired Fox, we averaged 9.1 steals/game to close out the year, which would have ranked #3 in the league if we could keep it up for the full season (but still pretty far behind OKC's league leading 10.8 steals/game).

I don't think we're going to become a lockdown individual defense anytime soon without a significant roster overhaul, but we can certainly be an opportunistic defensive events team if we could based our team iden y around it, got a little more length at the 4, and a capable backup big behind Wemby.

Best player ITW and real MVP and it is not even close.. It would be criminal if Jokic only rings once . He's easily 3-4 les-worthy talent. Absolutely mauled OKC frontline..
