I doubt enough to make a difference given how the broadcast contracts are separate. Like I said it would be difficult to make it totally equal since men's soccer just gets a piece of a much bigger pie. US Soccer could conceivably make up some of the disparity between the reward for last place men's and first place women's teams. I won't pretend it could do it all.

The women's team has generated more gate revenue than the men. Something from 2016 to 2018.

The problem is the bulk of the revenue comes from broadcasting and sponsorships. And guess what, that's where it gets murky since FIFA sells the broacasting rights as a bundled package.

The men's team also get higher bonuses and perks despite being third rate.
