Um, the whole spiel about it being 'rushed'...the series itself has been warpspeed. Walt not only goes from a self-loathing Chem teacher that gets walked upon for the first 50 years in life to a mastermind bloodthirsty kingpin of an 'empire' in the span of about, oh, 2 years. Having to tie up loose ends is never going to be smooth. However, the gap between the two split parts should be enough to warrant excitement and we all will find other things to bide our time with.

Actually, it's been a hair over ONE year. The first episode had him using his veggie bacon to make a 50, his fiftieth birthday. He just celebrated 51 this season, using real bacon this time.

Jesse dies in the next episode. It is going to be sad to see. But I'm sure Jesse will try to kill Walt and fail.

Only people I see dying next episode are Mike's crew in jail and maybe Todd or Lydia.

I want to see Gus's friends from Chile and some revenge from Madrigal. There's no way Heisenberg gets off this easy, and Walt's been stupid enough to advertise the fact to the new distributors.

Jesse = Heisenberg Jr. Walt's been creating a fragile ego that knows he's among the best in Jesse. Walt is acting like Gray Matter

Jesse's turned on Walt the last couple episodes. It looks obvious that they need something big to happen the last episode of the season. BIgger than Mike dying!

i was happy for mike, i guess i was naive enough to think things would work out for him... and then i realized how much of the episode was left. i've liked walt less and less for a while now. it's hard for me to like him at all for killing someone... just cause his feeling were hurt... on top of the fact that he's chosen to still, possibly, put his family in harm's way instead of just taking $5 million... so he can have an "empire". sensible because drug empires in america always have a happy ending. idc what happens to him, i hope things work out for jesse. hard to imagine that happening though. things seem like they're going to crumble.

there's one thing from each of the past two episodes i've hated. it's how uncharacteristic the writers made mike. he was smarter than to leave walt with one wrist handcuffed... with a plastic handcuff. second, why the would he trust walt to take him what he needed over jesse? the dea wasn't watching him. mike was listening to that bug. if his name was ever brought up in hank's office, mike would've brought that up.

i have a few questions i hope someone can answer... can you lock the door from the inside of the safety deposit box room so no one can enter while you're in there? is it legal for the police to just open it like they did? the lawyer couldn't just plead confidentiality in regards to the money? if that scene happened in irl, could the dea just claim and take all that money? mike's granddaughter wouldn't get any of it?

You never have an expectation of privacy when committing a crime. I suppose if the lawyer hadn't been up to no good, he could have sued the police department for harassment, but there's no real way to stop them before hand.

Mike's grand daughter is absolutely NOT en led to keep dirty drug money, even if the sentiment was altruistic on Mike's part. There's a reason he was hiding the money in a safe deposit box.

interesting how mike went out. Lydia begged him not to make her disappear she wanted her daughter to know she was always there. Mike abandoned his granddaughter. Jonathan banks was not happy with this in his interviews but just acted what was in the script.
a theory tossed out there for tomorrow is Jr dies in a car crash and with skylar ready to rat in Walt he kidnaps holly. Crazy? Yes.
I hope Todd takes out skylar

Not that I think it really makes a difference (to the story, anyways), but I don't think the DEA got Mike's granddaughter's cash. The lawyer filled up her big safety deposit box in the prior visit; the DEA probably only seized what he had in his bag when they barged in, which was only money going to the families of those in jail. Unless they spoke to the bank and found out ALL safety deposit boxes he had previously touched (which is possible), I don't think they ever knew about the money he gave to Kaylee. Then again, they never mentioned anything about it in the episode, and it really doesn't matter to the main story thread, so we'll probably never know.

Then again, with Mike dead...she'll probably never know it's there waiting for her. Wouldn't it suck if you had 5 million sitting and waiting for you in a box somewhere, and had no idea about it?

Anyways, I know tomorrow's episode is going to end with a huge ing cliffhanger in true Breaking Bad fashion...I just have no idea what it will be.

I've heard theories of Jr. ODing on Mike's blue meth. Now that would be some interesting TVs.

Wow, the entire dynamic of the last half of the season just changed. Great ending.

Walt will transition from villain back to Anti-hero and redeem himself as he fights to escape the consequences of his actions as Heisenberg before ultimately suc bing to either Hank or Cancer.

He didn't. He just found out that Walt knew Gale and worked with him. It will obviously cause Hank to question Walt as he denied knowing Gale. It's a big leap to assume he's Heisenberg from just what he read but the wheels are in motion.

Now how do the writers play this out? Does Hank question Walt, who more than likely comes up with a lie to cover his tracks and so does Hank believe him and go from there or does he open an investigation on Walt? Who knows where this will go but I'm excited to find out.

Damn, I kept waiting for some blue meth to drop out Walt Jr's pockets when he was putting sunscreen on the baby at the table.

I disagree; the look of shock and anger on Hank's face makes him look like he put 2 and 2 together. He's going to try to talk himself out of it next season, but he knows.

It must have taken a lot of restraint and patience to wait this long to use "Crystal Blue Persuasion" in a montage scene.

HANK ING KNOWS. He and Walt already had a conversation shortly after Gale's murder about who the W.W. in Gale's diary was, and Walt managed to deflect him into thinking it was Walt Whitman. I don't think Hank thinks that any more after the book inscription.
