Manu Ginobili suffered a strained left oblique muscle
spurs: Manu Ginobili suffered a strained left oblique muscle in the second half of today's game. No update on him or Tiago Splitter at this time.
Manu Ginobili suffered a strained left oblique muscle
So here you have an explanation for Splitter's limited minutes: muscle injury, yet again.
Pop is not crazy, he is treating this kid like the China doll that he is.
Oh and Kenyon Martin looks damn mobile. I don't understand how he could still move so well after 231241 knee surgeries. In hindsight, I now see why the Spurs went after him. He doesn't look done at all.
Manu - strained oblique muscle![]()
da fuq is that ?
Of course the win has to come at the expense of ANOTHER Ginobili injury and a Tiago one.
Our team can't catch a ing break.
I am proud of this team. No matter what happens at the end of the year.
We are lucky to have these players.
Oh, this definitely belongs here in this game thread.

Side of your ribs
Yea it was Butler that was some bull .
Let me lay this out like a wet diaper:
35:41 5/12 FG (3/6 3PT) 13 Points 6 Rebounds 2 Assists 2 Steals 1 Block 1 Turnover 1 Foul 0 Injuries
Don't look up.
Annoying, but not serious. One to two weeks for Manu.
what was fcked up about this game, caron and kmart didnt get a single tech for their constant complaining in this game...fkn pathetic refs protecting the home team
Not a very frequent injury, how did he ever do that?
Oblique muscle strains:
If it's a grade 2 or 3 strain than that could be 6 weeks to a few months. It's most likely a grade 1 though..Bending or twisting the trunk in a forceful or improper way can lead to a muscle strain of the obliques , according to the State of Victoria Better Health Channel website. Muscle strains are categorized based on their severity. If there is no significant injury to the oblique muscles, the sprain is considered a grade one or minor sprain. The main symptom is stiffness and difficulty moving the trunk, and there may be muscle soreness and visible bruising. Grade one sprains usually require avoiding movements that aggravate the symptoms and may take two to three weeks to heal.

Paul was looking for a whistle - end of story. If he really wanted the shot, he had every opportunity. He came away crying about the refs, like he does so often.
they won the game but lost manu, pyrrhic victory imho![]()
?
It wasn't that bad at all..
KMart at one point was screaming and cursing but it was toward his teammates for not getting a rebound that led to him fouling Duncan.
Wow, another stupid injury.
You guys are forgetting that Manu has really not been a factor in any of these wins, he has rarely played and tonight he looked kind of bad..
If anything this is still helping this team, Manu turns cold blooded in the playoffs and towards the end of the season..
Props to Pop for this win.
Some of the blitzes I have seen in the fourth quarter and in the OT were really unexpected and smart.
Risky, but it worked.
Chris Paul is and will always be a little .
Honestly, Neal is right up there with Bowen, and Kerr among other greats as the players I can never get mad at for shooting a 3 out of nowhere..
Cold-blooded is the best way to describe Neal, he's not phased at all, I love it!
ahahaha
thanks
