David Robinson was rooting for the Ravens and Ray Lewis.
Thanks. It's great to feel this way for the first time since I was 10.
It's funny that a Rams fan would talk about this Super Bowl. Super Bowl 34 is known for having the most exciting goal-line stop in history. This one doesn't compare.
If St. Louis can ever get their offense on track, I think they have a chance to make another run in the near-future. They seem to match up well with San Francisco.
This. Everything besides the game- the halftime show, the commercials- is for chicks.
My utter disdain for Ray Lewis is only equaled by the massive respect I have for Edward Reed. I can't stand the Ravens but Edward Reed deserves to raise the Lombardi.
Who knew that goofy looking bas Joe Flacco would actually turn into a pretty good football player? That was a pretty good game though for how it started. Also lots of Houston fan on Facebook posting like "Yeah Jacoby Jones got a ring! He was on the Texans!" I lolled.
The Bar Rafaeli commercial was disgusting.
Last 4 champs have played Eagles in opener:

The Browns played the Eagles in their home opener. Didn't help, unfortunately.
what a game.
i was thoroughly entertained and congrats to the ravens, mainly ray lewis and ed reed.
happy for reed to finally get a rang and ray for going out on top like the admiral.
i'm muslim, but i admire him for walking by faith and using the superbowl as a platform to spread the word.
kaepernick and the 9ers played hard but came up short.
Weren't the Eagles on the road for that game? I think the article means in the Eagles' home opener.
Yup, you're right. My bust.
Are the Ravens really going to let Anquan Boldin go? Please tell me they are, I can't take another two games of Buster Skrine "covering" that dude.
It all depends on Flacco's deal. If they have room, they'll probably keep him and just not re-sign Kruger or Ellerbee. If they don't, then Joe is obviously the bigger priority. I think the chances of Boldin getting cut are extremely low, and the chances of Jones getting cut may have also dropped significantly. I see the money coming from the defense and running game as opposed to receivers.
I think the Browns have a good chance to get better defensively with Horton there now. I think it's going to take a lot of work getting the right pieces in place. Hopefully for the Browns' sake, Horton sticks around long enough to finish the renovations.
The Browns need a front-seven guy that can get to the QB on a consistent basis. Once they get that guy they'll have a chance to be very good. They're definitely quicker and more physical defensively than they've been in past years, they just need to upgrade their pass rush.
I think they were headed in the right direction for sure. I just worry that Horton's going to change the scheme and make them start over. Right now, Cleveland is in the position to draft a pretty good talent near the top of the first. If they stay a 4-3 (which I think they should) and get someone opposite Sheard, it will help.
How as Taylor been? When he was coming out, I thought he was supposed to be a 3-4 kind of guy. Has he worked out in the defense so far?
Pretty good. Nasty, aggressive player. Has the AFC North mentality. It's just unfortunate the Browns traded down to get him and missed on a chance to draft either Aldon Smith or J.J. Watt. It's tough for a guy at Taylor's position to really be an impact player, although they're out there (Ngata.)
Seriously one of the best calls I've ever seen. If anyone ever wants to say that Jim is a better coach than John, they need to see this play. The 9ers were just not prepared for what really was an obvious possibility. It's great that he got his team to hold, too, because there was no possible downside. son managed to give Koch an extra four seconds by himself.
That safety call (and the execution) was great, but you can see 2 rear-naked chokeholds by the blockers in that play![]()
That was by design. Best-case scenario is that the blockers tackle and pin the 9ers (literally) for 12 seconds. Even if the refs called the penalties, the game still would have been over.
We practiced this often in high school, but never had a chance to run it. Glad to see it finally put to use.![]()
