    Well, damn.

Sounds like the right move. Primo's supposed best attribute was his supposed elite character and his willingness to learn and improve. Take that away and all you have is an unathletic scrub who can't dribble or pass.

I thought it was a bad pick. Turned out to be a terrible pick.
You’ve been defending this pick since day one.

He's a 19 year old who didn't know not to walk around with your out. What a dumb reason to cut him
If he did that in your house would you feel the same way with your daughters around

Being a flasher isn’t enough to just give him up for nothing. At this point I’m kinda pissed off at the release.
The cynic in me wonders whether Primo's disappointing play wasn't at least a bit of a factor making this an easier decision.

In the end, Primo was not a cultural fit.
In the end, Primo wasn't a point guard.

Who on earth drafts a player whose best attribute is elite character?

That's as stupid as drafting someone because 'they're a winner" like Mateen Cleaves. I thought those old stupid draft traditions died out 20 years ago.

I think you have to partially blame the vets. They should‘ve shown him how to lowkey get pussy. That‘s why young guys need veteran leadership

Hasn’t Bryan Forbes made All-NBA like eleven times based upon his elite character?

If this ends up being the deal then it better ing include some level of assault because this is bull .

Trade him. Put your franchise first. We’re in no hurry. Wait that out like the Texans did and then trade him to recoup something for the loss.

Being a flasher isn’t enough to just give him up for nothing. At this point I’m kinda pissed off at the release.

This ing team sits on assets to wait for the perfect trades but releases a guy for ing nothing because he’s a flasher. Absolute garbage response.

This dude gonna go be a shooting guard and light up the league.
I was thinking the same. There'd better be a rape or murder, or this is bull . Acting like he's ing Jeffrey Dahmer when really he's closer to Louis CK.

Again, the lack of empathy by your usual suspects because they don’t know the psychological effects of being violated. Who’s to say Primo didn’t cause trauma to these victims who did. not. want. to. see. what. they. saw. They were forced and when you’re forced, you feel helpless. Look at what the sexual assault did to Brandon Frasier. Dude was so mentally broken down because of what happened to him.

I‘ve been saying for years that that’s what‘s wrong with the organization. They value high character over basketball skills, yet fell on their face with plenty of those high character guys

They’re as awful at character scouting now as they were great at international scouting twenty years ago.

But there’s a whole subculture built upon valuing moral vanity over tangible results. It’s a status symbol.

check the time stamps. No one is "divulging details," while Woj is dropping a bombs of a detail on Primo's release. Shows what a joke the local media actually are in regards to the Spurs.

What value did he have that could be preserved after this? Suspend him, allow him to get treatment, tolerate that he’s recovered from being a sexual predator, then play him a year later to up his value? At some point, you have to draw a line and see things for what it is. It would have been a waste of developmental time for a chance his value would come back to normal. The Spurs don’t need to try to profit from assholes.
The line is always drawn somewhere but also subject to being redrawn. Spurs stood by Buford when his rich self got behind the wheel and put people's lives at risk when he was a middle aged man who knew better and could afford private car service.

Based on this small amount of info put out there, I think it's a big relief that it wasn't something like kids or rape or murder. There were certainly posters here convinced that it had to involve something like that.

Not downplaying indecent exposure or putting some poor maid through a traumatic event at their workplace.

But this is a business, and if they can't squeeze value out of their assets then they are hamstringing themselves. Primo will likely still play in the NBA, and the Spurs not benefiting from that is a problem.

Oh it's definitely ed up. Just not as ed up as we were expecting. There are levels to this.

The issue is that we could've traded him instead of dropping him if there are other teams who would still take him. And if there are other teams who would take him, then dropping him was the wrong move.

No complaint against Primo has reached the Bexar County District Attorney's Office, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff told the Express-News."That's the case as far as I know," Wolff said. "I talked to (district attorney) Joe (Gonzales) this morning and he said there isn't anything to investigate, that nothing has been filed with his office."
Spurs Sports & Entertainment chief executive officer R.C. Buford did not immediately return a message seeking comment.
Primo's agent, Todd Ramasar, also did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Report: Spurs waive Primo after allegedly exposing himself (expressnews.com)
