Does wingnut ter even watch the videos they post to "own the libs?"
"This could be a big outbreak...To protect the American public, that's why we have to do the things we have in our plan."
From Dear Leader's twitter:
So 10 days later, and no indication of that plan Fauci was talking about being implemented. Just more whiny tweets to fish for sympathy from "the base."March 9: “The Fake News media & their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power to inflame the Coronavirus situation.”
Okay, so for the sake of the argument, let's buy that Fauci's response was insufficient. Trump had other experts and even a yes man in Peter Navarro warn him of this thing in late January. Fauci wasn't the only expert or dissenting voice in town. What did I say about this earlier to other posts trying to excuse Trump for the supposed ups of his team? Managers are on the hook for the ups of their team. If Trump just listened to the experts that told him what he wanted to hear, then he's a ty manager.
Based on this there are 7 asymptomatic Wuhan virus carriers for every 1 symptomatic.
Selective sample. Expectant mothers won't "behave" the same socially as regular people. They frequent the hospital more, have group Lemaze sessions (heavy breathing, which could contribute to transmission), and are younger on average. Women also provably have better immune systems than men, and who knows if being pregnant acts an immune system boost.
Anyhow, we already have a much better study. The Iceland study, which estimates 25-50% asymptomatic.
The buck never stops at the President's desk. There's always a scapegoat.
Does Dear Leader even do states rights?
What this means for President Trump is that he simply has no power to control this issue. He can stand in front of a camera and urge governors to rescind their orders. He can instruct the CDC to change its recommendations. He can tell federal workers to go back to work. But, what he can’t do is issue a binding order to America’s governors that overrules their independent judgment about what is best for their states. If the governors want to keep their states “closed,” they can do so regardless of how much the president tweets.
Yep, the whole "I'm not responsible" thingie is complete lack of leadership too. Dear Leader can't have it both ways.
Behavior doesn't change asymptomatic vs symptomatic. Being younger and female is relevant though.
the buck stops with President Fauci apparently.
Also, are young healthy people really the vulnerable ones?
Also kind of funny that wingnuts think there's some liberal attachment to Fauci. If it's proven Fauci downplayed the risk, didn't urge preparedness, and formulate a plan during the run up to this, can his ass. But that doesn't excuse Trump from anything in the slightest. Again, Fauci isn't the king of experts. If Fauci advised Trump behind closed doors that this isn't a threat to the US, a competent manager would get dozens and dozens of expert opinions on the matter considering the gravity of the situation. That's just the way it works. The "buck stops" with managers, executives, etc. If their team s up, they get the axe along with their team.
March 8th
Yesterday, Fauci told Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace, “Elderly with underlying conditions, heart disease, chronic lung disease, diabetes (should) not wait, but right now, to sort of take look at things that are at high risk, crowded places, getting on airplanes, and absolutely don’t get on a cruise ship.”
Same article you linked... just a few lines below.
Lord Fauci
TSA is a lying rube apologist
Yeah look at the big protest in Michigan now
How come you left the rest of the quote out
"Young and healthy person" is a pretty big qualifier considering the health of the average American. Even a troubling percentage of "young Americans" are obese, have the beetus, hypertension, are smokers/vapers, eat terribly, etc.Fauci then said, “If you are a healthy young person, there is no reason if you want to go on a cruise ship, go on a cruise ship. But the fact is that if you have…an individual who has an underlying condition, particularly an elderly person who has an underlying condition, I would recommend strongly that they do not go on a cruise ship.”
I agree that Fauci should've been more "alarmist," but I don't see him calling anything a Democratic hoax there like the Dear Leader.
Criticizes misleading edits, edits misleadingly. Both happened today.
He is the dr trump is suppose to listen to ask liberals
But he just said he has absolute power... so which is it?
But he didn't.
These rubes doing backflips for Dear Leader who would step over them if they were on fire to piss on his daughter.
"Coronavirus has now killed Americans in all 50 states"
https://nypost.com/2020/04/13/corona...all-50-states/
Note: Wyoming reported the death yesterday even though the man died last week. I wonder how many deaths are out there that are yet to be reported.
Absolute power with zero responsibility.
There was nothing misleading about what I decided to quote. If I was trying to mislead why would I link the whole article.
So you wanted to have your argument destroyed immediately and be mocked for it.
Nice.
