Trumplandia probably doesn't remember, but one of the first things Bragg did as DA was to decline to prosecute a (different) criminal case against Trump.
I didn't even remember, or perhaps, honestly, never paid attention in the first place.

I sat here trying to write something at least a bit momentous or thought provoking, but what is there to think about, for people like us? They've gone utterly bat insane.

ID-less voting & spamming mail in ballots; is very difficult to defeat

They need to continue every court case after Trump is sitting at home after the election.
    EVERYTHING.
They need to go punitive on his ass, make him an example so the re s that see orange change their color scheme and realize what a crook they elected in 2016. The country needs to cleanse itself of this circus of parasites. That includes Menendez.

I disagree. It makes more sense to prosecute clear cases prosecutors think they can win, like the docs case and the fake elector scheme. And rioting.

Congress missed its chance to punish the putschists properly, the precedent should have been the 1861 US Congress that refused to seat secessionists.

and, needless to say, Rs should have spanked Trump, but they're spineless thralls to perceived political expediency, so they circled the wagons around a corrupt leader who tried to interrupt the peaceful transfer of power after he lost an election and the results were certified.

We are whatever they are told we are. That's the real problem, isn't it? They don't have the honor or self-awareness to ask any questions. That's how Trump, completely without evidence of any type, managed to convince tens of millions that the election was stolen. It's not some deep thinking process. It's simply, you should believe it because Trump said so.

If you want my off the cuff feelings about the vacuum of ignorance (doubtful but here they are lol), it's the same reason why absolute monarchical forms of government are the norm, historically, and true republican governments are the outlier. People will simply believe whatever someone who's much more powerful/rich tells them. Democracy, or a society where the veil of ignorance exists in both fact and theory, unfortunately, is not the natural state of humanity. Tribalism, following the leader and therefore absolving yourself of having to reflect, and just general polarity give people more meaning than the freedom of will and conscience democratic governance can provide.

    Thanks for reading.

You'd already "spanked" him by threatening to blow him up and cut his head off.

Knowing a few Trumpers, I wonder if we're simply all satanists who must be purged, natural, God-given rights be damned?

You all shouldn't a tried to murder/purge him like that. He can't let go now, same with those 2 elders sons of his. It's that blood, 0. That shared blood that runs rampant in the heart chambers.

Vengeance won't cure it, but it can't hurt to give it a good try.

    Those are the big ones.
Wish the elector scheme was already over and Trump was fried.
The Georgia case will end him.

Now I do want them to go punitive on him for causing such a storm.

something you brought up without bringing up is the extreme aversion to momentary inconveniences, like living in a multi ethnic, multi-creedal society where equal citizenship -- nominally at least -- obtains.

To me the bolded is what makes real human beings different. Reflection and self examination of why you believe what you believe. I don’t think animals reflect upon their belief system.

once you accept that people who merely disagree with you are demon-indwelt monsters trying to destroy the heart of America, you can squash them gleefully, like bugs!

Why would that be, Winester? Easy: one has but one life to live. They do not want to live it among people who are DIFFERENT than they are. It's a free country, more or less, sometimes, well not as much as it used to be, but you get the drift.
