Granderson and Cabrera just both hit solo HRs and tied the Angels 3-3.
That was the season on the balance. Blow that game in that fashion and drop to 2 1/2 back with 2 more in NY and it might have been season over.

Not so fast my friend. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO TIGERS!!!!!!!
nice, the Tigers hit back-to-back triples and a sac fly to take a 5-3 lead in the 7th.
well , let's win this division. the angels are slippin' and we've owned them this year.![]()
sounds like a plan, my friend.
Detroit up 5-3 in the 9th. Three more outs, you can do it Tigers!!!
the Tigers held on! Angels lose for the 5th time in 6 days!
happy 21st birthday, Elvis!!!!!!
After seeing the replay in slo mo on the DVR it looked like a tie and the runner should have been safe...but great call by the umpire
Tonights games we got
Floyd vs. Wakefield (1st game back from DL)
Jackson vs. Saunders (1st game back from DL)
Those look like very winable matchups...GO RANGERS, WHITE SOX and TIGERS
its gonna be hard to take another game from the Yankees this series.
They have a stacked team and have been absolutely on fire lately
i'm one of the biggest Ranger fans there is, but i don't see how we're gonna get out of this series without losing atleast 1
the mission is to keep the Yanks under 80 wins by the time we leave New York.
btw, the Angels are already leading 2-0 in the 2nd.
Unfortunately the Tigers couldn't finish off the sweep. Angels won 4-2.
Ortiz hit a walk off HR for Boston. Bad bad day.![]()
.....everyone wins today except us
At the very least, the Rays choked one away.
I don't know if this is true but someone told me the Texas Rangers have a grand total of 1 playoff victory (not series but game).
So they're playing a team with 26 times more World Series Championships than the Rangers have playoff victories.
So what's your point? The Yankees haven't won anything in awhile. The Rangers have a chance. And now without Jason Jennings allowing over half of his inherited runners to score, we might have a better chance.
Chris Davis with the great defensive play followed by the HR. Rangers looking good, hopefully we can finish this off. And without any 9th inning drama.
Looking good against the Yanks...let's finish this like the McAllister Park kids do.
We're going into the 9th inning with a 5 run lead, just like in the first game. Hopefully there is no heart attack city this time.
Good win today, finally our offense got going.
Hopefully we start to beat the teams we need to beat from here on out
no drama today baby!
O WIN COLUMN! first home series loss for the Yanks in over two months. GO RANGERS!
