No . I ing LOVED that.
Only about 7 months. End of March. Still a long wait.
No . I ing LOVED that.
He wondered who W.W. was. He never said "Heisenberg is W.W. and I wonder who he is?"
Hank just knows that Walt cooks/ed meth and was involved in some way with Gale and Fring, etc.
It's a HUGE leap to make by Hank that Walt is Heisenberg and the King of Albuquerque's meth empire.
Will he eventually come to that conclusion? Possibly, we'll see.
Do y'all think Walt is really out of the business?
No way he is out. Lying. He's still messed up. That's all he's got left. He said so.
we know in the future Walt is on the run and needs an m60 so i take it he isnt. This show loves to pay homage to the godfather so "just when i think i'm out they pull me back"
Gus Fring is dead, all of his workers were just simultaneously murdered in 3 minutes, the blue meth is still on the streets, and Walt is the last ing man standing. You wouldn't have to be a MENSA candidate (and Hank isn't by any stretch) to put the puzzle together in about 5 seconds.
Again, you as the viewer know that he's Heisenberg, so there's a bias to that thinking.
First off, Walt isn't the last man standing, Mike is also standing in the eyes of Hank and well, everyone except Walt. It's incredibly easy to assume that Mike hired the prison inmates to take out those guys, I mean, his lawyer just got pinched and was about to rat him out.
Again, it's too big a leap to assume he thinks Heisenberg is Walt. The realization on Hank's face is knowing that Walt had been involved the entire time. That's something he never thought of before and the fact that he knew Gale and worked with him and by proxy Gus, it's a shocking revelation.
I guarantee in however many months, episode 9 will not feature Hank accuse Walt of being Heisenberg. They'll build to that.

Declan, who lives in ing Phoenix, knows Heisenberg is the meth cook. You can bet the DEA knows that, too. If Hank knows Walt is the cook, Walt is therefor Heisenberg.
Hank may not assume Walt is Heisenberg, he may assume he is or he may know he is 100%. We'll see. I can't wait.
knowing is not proving
Question... Why did everybody think Walt Jr. was going to start using the blue meth?
Breaking Bad fans are prone to make laughably bad predictions.
Boring episode til the end tbh...
can't wait for the 2nd half tho.
5/5 season
is buddy holly trolling or did he not watch the final minutes of breaking bad? they showed a flash back of hank talking to walt about who W.W was.
Shows like dexter really do need to learn after 6 seasons there is a drop off stick to 4 seasons like breaking bad
Damn, you didn't like the scene with the guy set on fire in his cell?
anyone else notice the return of the fly, probably cause he killed mike
There were a lot of callbacks in this episode. The fly, the shot of Walt sliding backwards into frame for the scan, the punched paper towel dispenser, the dripping faucet/wind charm/bug (formerly snail) crawling along the wall from season 2's black & white cold opens, and... I think there was at least one other thing that jumped out of me. Not to mention Walt and Jesse reminiscing about the Bounder. Seemed a very intentional device to quickly sum up and/or remind viewers of all that's happened thus far and the sense that it's all been building toward something so that the final eight can all be resolution.
Feels very strongly as though the build up is done. Which is good, on one hand, as it at least somewhat promises to give a good deal of time to tying up loose ends. But it's also somewhat bittersweet, as I really do think it signifies an end to looking backwards. Any hope of flashbacks explaining Gus' early years, or his life in Colombia, or any additional Mike back story, is likely for naught.
Breaking Bad is one of the few shows where the show has gotten better with age.
BB is on break..in the middle of season 5.
I think if you want a great show, you need clear boundaries of where the show starts and where it ends, and most of how it gets from A to B. You have to be able to let the show end when it needs to. If you don't, you wind up with something like Dexter or Weeds.`
Am I the only one who wants to see Hank dead?![]()
I like Walt's character... but I'm definitely rooting for Hank and Jesse to somehow survive even though it seems unlikely given the Scarface parallels.
