Police Chief responds to a discrimination lawsuit by pretending like he's a monkey
"Chief Hoover then began to act like a monkey. Chief Hoover placed his hands in his armpits and began scratching them. Chief Hoover also started making loud monkey sounds: “Hooo...hooo.....hooo....hahahaha...hooo.....haaah ” While Chief Hoover was scratching and chanting, he started to move around the room, in a dance or jumping fashion. While jumping and moving about the room Chief Hoover momentarily beat his chest like Tarzan."
Cops retired and the mayor thanks him for his years of service while the cop who turned him in is treated like a traitor by the community.
"For his part, Officer Stone says he’s been harassed other Clatskanie residents since filing the report.
“I’ve already faced a lot of retaliation, my wife’s been forced off the road twice,“I’ve had people in the community yelling the N-word at me.”

American police are 300% more likely to kill themselves than be shot and killed by someone else
As conservatives spread lies blaming the Black Lives Matter movement for the recent deaths of police officers, the greatest safety risk to police is all but being ignored publicly: suicide. In 2013, the last year on public record, 126 police officers committed suicide.
"Suicides can happen in any profession, but they occur 1.5 times more frequently in law enforcement compared to the general population," psychiatric nurse Pamela Kulbarsh wrote in an Oct. 9 article for Officer.com."Quite truthfully, the actual rate is probably higher as law enforcement suicides are more likely to be underreported or misclassified as accidental deaths. This misclassification usually occurs to protect the family, other survivors, or the agency from the stigma of suicide," she wrote.
Compare that to 47 police officers who were shot and killed in 2014 or the 43 that are predicted to be shot and killed this year, and it's increasingly clear that people who love police officers and want to see them do well in life should seriously consider focusing on their mental health.

I remember ST rightwingnuts trashing Cobain and all suicides as weak assholes, losers, good riddance.
The story was dramatic: a man in a maroon pickup truck opened fire at a Millis police officer, sending the officer's cruiser slamming into a tree.
The car burst into flames; shots were exchanged; schools were shut down as investigators combed the area for what they believed was an armed and dangerous suspect. The problem? It was not true, according to Millis police.
At a press conference Thursday, Millis police Sgt. William Dwyer said the incident had been fabricated. The patrolman, a 24-year-old part time officer, made up the account, Dwyer said.

Cops Mistake Neurological Disorder for Insanity; Kidnap, Strip-Search, and Jail Man for Days
He was handcuffed to a table, diagnosed as having “mental health issues" and jailed.
In response to a Fourth Amendment lawsuit filed by attorneys for the Rutherford Ins ute, government officials insist they had “probable cause” to arrest a 37-year-old disabled man, allegedly because of his slurred speech and unsteady gait.
Gordon Goines, a resident of Waynesboro, Va., who suffers from a neurological condition similar to multiple sclerosis, was then strip searched by police, handcuffed to a table, diagnosed as having “mental health issues,” and subsequently locked up for five days in a mental health facility against his will and with no access to family and friends.
Disputing the assertions of the Valley Community Services Board (VCSB), one of its mental health screeners and three police officers, Rutherford Ins ute attorneys have asked the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals to reinstate Goines v. Valley Community Services Board, arguing that citizens have a clearly established right to be free from mental health seizures by government officials unless there is compelling evidence justifying seizure.
“By giving government officials the power to declare individuals mentally ill and detain them against their will without first ensuring that they are actually trained to identify such illness, the government has opened the door to a system in which involuntary detentions can be used to make people disappear,” said John W. Whitehead, president of The Rutherford Ins ute and author of Battlefield America: The War on the American People.

Oregon police chief goes on racist tirade calling African Americans monkeys, supports Confederacy
On June 25, two Clatskanie, Oregon, police officers witnessed something horrific. The fallout from what they witnessed has been just as bad, and the implications reveal that racism runs throughout the city.
According to the city website, "Clatskanie has been described as a Norman Rockwell picturesque small city nestled in green hills and valleys on the coastal range in northwest Oregon." This comparison, it turns out, is actually highly appropriate because many observers believe that the bulk of Rockwell's paintings were racist and displayed a white supremacist vision of America in which black folk were perpetually subservient.
Officer Alex Stone, who is white, arrested an African-American woman, one of less than 10 black residents in the town, on June 25. During the arrest, she told Officer Stone that she was going to sue the department for racism.
When the officer arrived back at the station, he decided, as was standard, to debrief Police Chief Marvin Hoover, also a white man, on the incident. Chief Hoover, mind you, is an award-winning veteran leader of this police department. What followed, and was witnessed by multiple officers, is deeply disturbing.
As Officer Stone was describing his earlier arrest to Chief Hoover, he said to the chief that the woman he arrested said that local police think black people are animals.
At that point, according to multiple eyewitness accounts, the chief interrupted Officer Stone and said, "That's what they are. They're animals."
“Chief Hoover placed his hands in his armpits and began scratching them. Chief Hoover also started making loud monkey sounds: ‘Hooo... hooo..... hooo....hahahaha...
hooo.....haaah. While Chief Hoover was scratching and chanting, he started to move around the room, in a dance or jumping fashion. While jumping and moving about the room Chief Hoover momentarily beat his chest like Tarzan.”
Officer Zack Gibson, who was also there, witnessed the incident and stated:
“Officer Stone brushed aside the antic, but I could observe that it bothered him. At the same time I was in disbelief that the Chief of Police was acting in such a manner while an officer is concerned he may be accused of racism.”
At that point, Chief Hoover doubled down on his racism.
“Chief Hoover then started to sing the words to Dixieland: 'In a land of cotton...old times they’re not forgotten...look away...look away...look away.'As the chief sang the song, he kneeled down and began to make a punching motion with his right fist.
While making a punching motion, Chief Hoover held his left hand in front of him in a gripping motion, as if he was holding a person by the shirt collar. In addition, while singing the words “look away” Chief Hoover moved his head back-and-forth to his left and right as if he was looking over his shoulder.".
The chief then laughed and left the room, but the story gets worse.
When Officer Stone communicated how disturbed he was to his superior, Sergeant McQuiddy, Stone states in his report that McQuiddy "got extremely quiet and unresponsive .. and offered no guidance on filing a complaint." Without the support of his superior, Officers Stone and Gibson contacted their union and local attorneys, who asked them to ask Sgt. McQuiddy to join their complaint one last time. This time, the response was even worse. Officer Stone stated:
Sgt. McQuiddy told me didn't believe anything would happen to Chief Hoover and that the city would make life for us for doing this. Sgt. McQuiddy said it would "be " at least three times during our last conversation. I almost felt as if I was being dissuaded from pursuing a complaint.
When Officer Gibson spoke to Sgt. McQuiddy on his own about the complaint, the sergeant stated that he was concerned some type of "retaliation" may come, particularly if they told City Manager Greg Hinkelman.Indeed, the retaliation has already started for Officer Stone.
Officer Stone said some members of the community began harassing him after he filed the report against Chief Hoover.“I’ve already faced a lot of retaliation, my wife’s been forced off the road twice,” he explained. “I’ve had people in the community yelling the N-word at me.”
During the investigation of this entire ordeal, Chief Hoover was given a paid vacation before he voluntarily retired. Not surprisingly, the local mayor wrote him a glowing tribute in the town newspaper without a single mention of this incident.

Horrifying Video Shows Cops Tell K9 'Good Boy' as They Let Him Maul a Handcuffed Man
According to the video uploader; Nick Palermo.
“I was at work when I saw 5 cop cars stop across the street from my job in Del Ray Beach. They all ran out of their cars and I started filming. Now I don’t know why the police were call (sic) or what this guy did that made the police go after him but from what I saw he was clearly unarmed, 6 police officers tackled him to the floor and repe ively punched and kicked him”
During the video, many officers can be heard yelling ‘stop fighting with us.’ This was undoubtedly the officers’ rendition of ‘Stop resisting,’ even though the man was already handcuffed.
While commanding a subdued and handcuffed suspect to stop resisting may seem ridiculous, it is a common tactic used by law enforcement. In June of this year, Officer Mark Magness mercilessly pummeled a man who was handcuffed and strapped to a chair while repeatedly yelling ‘stop resisting.’
As the incident unfolds, the officer unleashes a K-9 on the already handcuffed suspect. While the dog is attacking the defenseless man, the K-9’s handler can be heard saying ‘Good Boy’ as if to offer positive reinforcement for viciously mauling a defenseless human being.
While the video abruptly ends moments after the attack, Mr. Palermo added:
“After the video stopped the ambulance came and from what I saw the man was not moving and was bleeding out badly.”
This disturbing video is by no means an ‘exception to the rule’. Police regularly use their K-9 partners to inflict torture on suspects. Earlier this year police in Vineland, NJ released a K-9 on Phillip White, whom an eyewitness described as ‘out cold.’ White was savagely mauled by the K-9 officer and later died in police custody.

Prison Gets Rich Locking Up Preschoolers
One for-profit prison company has found that incarcerating infants, toddlers, children, and mothers—as long as they’re undo ented immigrants—is a great way to boost their revenue by upward of $49 million over the previous year.
The latest quarterly finance report from Corrections Corporation of America, a for-profit prison company, indicates that its contract with Immigration and Customs Enforcement to manage a detention center packed with immigrant mothers and children is very helpful to its bottom line.
Part of the reason their deal is so lucrative? The public isn’t particularly bothered by it.
The company can thank President Obama. Facing enormous political pressure and eye-grabbing headlines, the Obama administration moved last summer to dramatically expand the federal government’s capacity for locking up young mothers and kids.
Before last summer—when thousands of mothers and young children fleeing gang violence and bad governance in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador crossed the southern border into this country—the detention of immigrant families was rare.
Antonio Ginatta, the U.S. advocacy director for Human Rights Watch, said there were only 90 beds or fewer in facilities designated for the detention of these immigrants. But then last summer happened, and the number of young children—many entering the country without parents—and young mothers crossing the border went up dramatically.
“There was no family detention in the United States, practically, a year and a half ago,” said Ginatta. “And now we’re in the thousands.”

Cities spend billions on police brutality settlements, can't 'afford' body cameras
On September 8, it was announced that the city of Baltimore reached a $6.4 million settlement with the family of Freddie Gray following his wrongful death in police custody.
This comes after the city already paid Dondi Johnson $7.4 million, and Jeffrey Alston $39 million. Each of them ended up fully paralyzed after encounters with the Baltimore police.
New York City announced a $5.9 million settlement with Eric Garner's family.
The family of Sean Bell was paid $7 million after the New York Police Department shot and killed him on his wedding day.
Abner Louima was paid $8.75 million after being brutalized and sexually assaulted by the NYPD.
From 2000 to 2010, New York City spent more than $1 billion to settle police brutality cases.
Over the past five years, the city has s ed out an additional $500 million.
Chicago just announced a settlement with the family of Laquan McDonald for at least $5 million in his wrongful death.
This was followed by the same city announcing a multi-million dollar reparations fund for men and women who had been tortured by their police.
Before that, Chicago paid $4.5 million to the family of Rekia Boyd.
In all, cash-strapped Chicago has spent over $500 million on police brutality settlements since 2004.
What's wild is that in spite of billions of dollars being spent after people are brutally murdered and assaulted by police, most law enforcement agencies in cities like New York, Chicago, and Baltimore still don't have body cameras.
They often cite the cost of starting such a program as being a prohibitive factor. But the truth is that most departments could outfit their entire force with the cost of just a few settlements.
What's actually behind the delay in getting them is far more nefarious. Police don't want body cameras because they prefer to concoct their own stories when they're in a crunch. Cities don't want them because they know cameras will likely raise the amount they have to spend on settlements for police brutality, instead of lessening it.
In other words, local governments prefer the system just the way it is. Few police are ever prosecuted and, in most cases, little evidence exists to contradict police when they use lethal force.

Tennis Star James Blake Tackled Outside his Midtown Hotel by NYC Police, and Why Money Isn't Enough
James Blake was slammed to the ground by an officer and had four more officers restrain him, as they yelled things like, "Don't say a word" and "You're in safe hands." They suspected that he was a person involved in an iden y theft ring, because those sorts of people often wait patiently outside of posh NYC hotels while waiting for their private cars to take them to the US Open. Blake did not run, even as he saw a plain-clothes officer charge toward him. According to Blake:
Blake described the incident as "hard to believe," and vowed to use his public megaphone to bring awareness to police brutality.
Maybe I'm naďve, but I just assumed it was someone I went to high school with or something who was running at me to give me a big hug, so I smiled at the guy

Shopping While Black? Avoid Whole Foods. You May Get Beaten Bloody
If you're thinking of shopping at Whole Foods, don't. According to Zoe Marks, a witness, a black man who tried it in Oakland was beaten unconscious:
In Oakland less than four hours and I just saw a young man violently assaulted by an armed security guard at Whole Foods - slammed repeatedly against concrete pillars, put in a chokehold, restrained, and suffocated until he was thrown face down on the pavement unconscious. The guard locked him out of the store despite the fact he was immobile. Not a single employee called the paramedics. He was trying to buy groceries with his EBT card and ended up in a stretcher.
ThinkProgress headlined their article:
Private Security At Whole Foods Beats Black Man Unconscious, Leaves Him In A Pool Of His Own Blood
...which lacks snap but makes up for it with accuracy. The Oakland Tribune wrote:
OAKLAND -- Whole Foods Market has fired a security guard after a violent altercation with a customer at an Oakland store, a spokeswoman said Friday. The alleged assault began about 9:30 p.m. Thursday inside the market on Bay Place near Lake Merritt, according to spokeswoman Beth Krauss and a witness. Oakland police are investigating the incident as an assault.
The guard, who has not been named, was initially suspended but on Friday afternoon Krauss said the guard's suspension would be permanent.

Police officers three times more likely to commit domestic violence than active NFL players
Police departments are actually amazing at public relations. Each department often has its own communications director, some have full PR departments, and high-ranking officers interact with the local media more than any other profession in our country. This may explain how police officers are held up as the ethical and moral heroes of our country in spite of the reality that they have a rate of domestic violence 300 percent higher than NFL athletes.A full 69 percent of Americans believe that the NFL has a widespread domestic violence problem, and 47 percent of Americans believe that NFL athletes should be permanently banned from the league for domestic violence.
The truth is, though, that NFL athletes actually have a domestic violence rate that is 45 percent lower than the national average. The athletes are just so popular and widely covered that it has given the nation a bit of a false impression.
Domestic violence is a problem in general, and NFL athletes are certainly part of that problem.
What isn't being told is that police officers have a higher domestic violence rate than any known profession in the country.
Keep reading for the gory details.
In families of police officers, domestic violence is two-to-four times more likely than in the general population — from stalking and harassment to sexual assault and even homicide. As the National Center for Women and Policing notes, two studies have found that at least 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence, in contrast to 10% of families in the general population.
combined with the already highly secretive nature of policing, has caused experts to believe that the actual rates of domestic violence by law enforcement are drastically underreported.
A 2013 Bowling Green State University study, through news searches, tallied 324 cases of reported officer domestic violence. It is likely that this number is a gross underestimate, because as the National Center for Women and Policing has detailed, officers frequently cover for each other.

Boston Police Shun the President over a Big Fat LIE
Because apparently he didn't do something, or say something, but in truth he actually did do it - but they don't know, or don't care, or won't believe it, or whatever...
Jerry Flynn of the New England Policeman's Benevolent Association is truly stellar case of distortion and projection.
He wrote, the Boston Herald reported: “Our members are enraged at his lack of support of law enforcement. It’s clear that he has an agenda and unfortunately, the police are not part of his agenda.”Flynn referenced the eight police officers killed in a nine-day period, and Obama’s “silence” on that point. He also denounced Joe Biden’s silence, characterizing the lack of support for police “not an Obama problem” but rather “an administration problem,” he wrote.
“This is a horror show,” Flynn said. “This is an epidemic of lawless people trying to kill police officers for no apparent reasons. Case in point is the lieutenant who was pumping gas in Houston. Over 7,000 people were at that church, and where was [Obama]? Why wasn’t he there instead of a unity breakfast?”
Ignoring the fact that there is no epidemic of Police being Killed by Black People in vengful retaliation - Yes, why exactly is Obama out Promoting A SILLY THING LIKE UNITY instead of giving police officers an extra bowl of milk and cookies before their nighty night time? I mean it's not like the President said this last week in support of the families of fallen Officers.
That's the President being "Silent" on the issue. Deafening Silence, isn't it? Or rather falling on deaf ears.Over the flip we will, believe it or not, examine the even more outrageous things said by Mr. Flynn
This afternoon, on my way to Alaska, I called Kathleen Goforth, the widow of Harris County Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth - a veteran law enforcement officer who was contemptibly shot and killed over the weekend. On behalf of the American people, I offered Mrs. Goforth my condolences, and told her that Mic e and I would keep her and her family in our prayers. I also promised that I would continue to highlight the uncommon bravery that police officers show in our communities every single day. They put their lives on the line for our safety. Targeting police officers is completely unacceptable - an affront to civilized society. As I said in my State of the Union Address, we've got to be able to put ourselves in the shoes of the wife who won't rest until the police officer she married walks through the door at the end of his shift. That comfort has been taken from Mrs. Goforth. So we must offer her our comfort - and continue to stand up for the safety of police officers wherever they serve.
Targeting police officers is completely unacceptable — an affront to civilized society.
And he said: “I mean, [Obama] had the opportunity to do things then and he didn’t, andall he’s done is escalated and allowed these people that are bent on causing problems to do so. We can’t continue to have people who have no intention to do anything but to be disruptive. These aren’t good citizens. These are thugs who go out and try to cause problems. You can’t continue to have this kind of hatred and animosity and the lawlessness that’s going on in this country at the cost of police officers losing their lives. It’s irresponsible of the president and his administration.”
Yeah, it's funny how when you call people "thugs" they sometimes, somehow, might have a bit of "hatred and animosity" towards you. Who knew of such a thing?
Flynn then suggested Obama could calm some of this violence simply by issuing a statement of support for police.“I think it would send a message to people in law enforcement that we have a commander in chief who actually is backing the people who are in the war on the street,” he said. “And this is a war on the street. He’s got to come out and ask to be a unified group and to support law enforcement. He’s got a new attorney general, what’s her agenda? What is her message going to be, that she’s actually putting forth? I don’t know the answer to that question. But certainly, what he’s doing now, what he hasn’t done now, has been supportive of those in law enforcement.”
Geez, if only Obama would make a statement in support of Police. Y'know, besides the one he made in support of Office Goforth's family. It's not like Obama made a statement condemning the shooting of Police in New York that went something like this.
"I unconditionally condemn today's murder of two police officers in New York City," Obama said in a statement. "Two brave men won't be going home to their loved ones tonight, and for that, there is no justification. The officers who serve and protect our communities risk their own safety for ours every single day - and they deserve our respect and gra ude every single day."Obama continued: "Tonight, I ask people to reject violence and words that harm, and turn to words that heal - prayer, patient dialogue, and sympathy for the friends and family of the fallen."
Now if only Obama would say that police deserve our "respect and gra ude" and that we should "reject violence and words that harm" and turn to "prayer, patient dialogue and sympathy for the fallen", that would be so much better than the Obama we have in the White House right now.And I do wish he would say something about all that darn looting and rioting. Something like this would be good.
"There's no excuse for the kind of violence that we saw yesterday," Obama said. "It is counterproductive. When individuals get crowbars and start prying open doors to loot, they're not protesting, they're not making a statement, they're stealing."
Wouldn't that be something?Yes, if only that guy were President we wouldn't be seeing reports like this.
There is no doubt that President Barack Obama hates the police. His ideology is why he has built a long career of activism against law enforcement… And thanks to Obama, too many people are opposed to the same police officers who risk their lives every day for our safety.Public views towards police are so bad in some areas, that police have taken a more hands-off approach to public safety. Depending on the neighborhood, this can be disastrous.
"Long career of activism against law enforcement"? When exactly was that? Was it when he as an Illinois State Senator and helped passed that viciously "anti-Cop" legislation that required them to videotape confessions on death penalty cases in order to cut down on "beatings".
And that Obama also passed bills requiring police to do ent the race of the drivers they stopped, because that's just so hateful.
Consider a bill into which Obama clearly put his heart and soul. The problem he wanted to address was that too many confessions, rather than being voluntary, were coerced -- by beating the daylights out of the accused.Obama proposed requiring that interrogations and confessions be videotaped.
This seemed likely to stop the beatings, but the bill itself aroused immediate opposition.
...
The police proved to be Obama's toughest opponent. Legislators tend to quail when cops say things like, "This means we won't be able to protect your children." The police tried to limit the videotaping to confessions, but Obama, knowing that the beatings were most likely to occur during questioning, fought -- successfully -- to keep interrogations included in the required videotaping.
By showing officers that he shared many of their concerns, even going so far as to help pass other legislation they wanted, he was able to quiet the fears of many.
Mr. Hendon praised Mr. Obama, however, for later winning passage of what some in Springfield called “the driving-while-black bill,” which required the police to collect data on the race of drivers they stopped as a way to monitor racial profiling. Law enforcement groups had repeatedly blocked earlier versions while the Republicans were in control; when the Democrats took over, Mr. Obama brokered a compromise between the police groups and the A.C.L.U.
Because it's just so anti-Cop for them to not beat suspects to get them to confess and focus specifically on drivers of a certain races because they think they're more likely to get an easy arrest for crack (which has higher jail time associated and is more often used by black people because it's cheaper) than for cocaine or meth. How Dare He?!
And then there's the worse thing he did. Remember? When he said that Sgt Crowley of the Cambridge Police "Acted Stupidly" by arresting Professor Skip Gates for the "crime" of breaking into his own stuck front door. Who was he to think he had a right to get into his own house, and of course since that was after Crowley had already received confirmation that it really was Skip Gates own house the "smart" thing to do was arrest him.
And the next smart thing for Crowley to do was Lie On His Police Report about it all, which he did.
Gates opened the door and exclaimed "Why, because I am a black man in America? While yelling, he told me that it was none of my business and accused me of being a racist police officer.
Gates continued to yell at me.
My reason for wanting to leave the residence was that Gates was yelling very loud and the acoustics of the kitchen and foyer were making it difficult for me to transmit pertinent information...
Gates continued to yell at me...
The gentleman shouted "You don't know who your [sic] messing with!"
At the time Gates had a severe bronchial infection, he couldn't yell at anyone. This is also confirmed by the audio from Crowley's radio where Gates can be heard in the background but not yelling.Crowley also lied about meeting and talking with the 9-11 Caller. He said this in his report.
When I arrived at 17 Ware street I radioed ECC and asked that they have the caller meet me at the front door to this residence. SNIP . As I reached the door, a female voice called out to me. I turned and looked in the direction of the voice and observed a white female, later identified as Lucia Whalen. Whalen, who was standing on the sidewalk in front of the residence, held a wireless telephone in her hand and told me that it was she who called. She went on to tell me that the observed what appeared to be two black males with backpacks on the porch of 17 Ware street.
But Whalen never said any of that, she never even met Crowley according to her attorney.
Attorney Wendy Murphy, who represents Whalen, also categorically rejected part of the police report that said Whalen talked with Sgt. James Crowley, the arresting officer, at the scene. "Let me be clear: She never had a conversation with Sgt. Crowley at the scene," Murphy told CNN by phone. "And she never said to any police officer or to anybody 'two black men.' She never used the word 'black.' Period."
She added, "I'm not sure what the police explanation will be. Frankly, I don't care. Her only goal is to make it clear she never described them as black. She never saw their race. ... All she reported was behavior, not skin color."
This is the 9-1-1 Call right here.
Gates was arrested for "Disorderly Conduct" but in reality he was arrested because of his asking Sgt Crowley for his name and badge number multiple times but Crowley wouldn't respond, so Gates grew frustrated and questioned his motivations.
‘What is your name, and what is your badge number?’ and he refused to respond. I asked him three times, and he refused to respond. And then I said, ‘You’re not responding because I’m a black man, and you’re a white officer.’ That’s what I said. He didn’t say anything. ...(Gates is then Arrested)
A crowd had gathered, and as they were handcuffing me and walking me out to the car, I said, ‘Is this how you treat a black man in America?’
Crowley was offended by Gates suggestion he had racial motivations and concocted the "Disorderly" charge in order to retaliate against him for making that suggestion [I mean it's not like we have a Cons utional Amendment that allows citizens to criticize their government - including police - and "redress greivances" with them. Sheesh.] Gates hurt his little, itty-bitty, tender, soft and squishy Cop Feelings so he had to get some Payback, even if he had to bend and twist the facts and the law into a cheese pretzel to do it. Everything in his report is a pack of lies designed to cover up his abuse of authority. If Gates had sued the combination of the audio from the 9-1-1 call and the radio would have nailed Crowley to the wall. He's Lucky the President and Vice-President intervened to calm nerves with a cordial "Beer Summit" in order to resolve the tension.
So that's the extent of the President's "Cop Hating". Wow, really scary isn't it?
