Rashard Lewis was actually a factor in this game with LeBron on the floor playing the Hedo role. Ray Allen also got some benefit in the lenovo stat. Wade and Bosh being on the floor by themselves was not going to get it done. Cole/Chalmers continue to be really..no type of factor. I'll wait. Chris Anderson got the benefit of that same play the Heat run down low to get a lob for him. Everyone did their jobs on defense.

Splitter, Nelli, and Leonard...really non existent.

Splitter had a "last year" types finals game. That is not a great sign.

Leonard hesitated on many threes and instead got himself into trouble by driving. He has to stay confident in his shot. He also fouled out. Splitter was in great position or just wasn't aggressive enough but that's his character. BelliNelli was getting crushed on Defense.

Tony Parker had a great game on the stat sheet..but not at the right moments. Tony had many opportunities and even open shots in the mid range and under screens but he kept dribbling. He needs to make more shots.

Tim Duncan self destructed after blowing up on the refs. He was shooting over 70 before that. Both TIm and Parker were part of the free throw miss streak while the Spurs were up 2. Any lead shouldn't be taken for granted.

Danny Green, Patrick Mills, and Diaw did what was expected of them.

The Heat had less attempts and still finished with almost the exact amount of field goals made. Higher offensive effeciency but the offense was only one guy.

The Spurs got out rebounded by a small team because they shot more..really. They also had almost double the assists.

    ---------------

The balance attack only works when everyone contributes to keep the balance. The Spurs can't afford to blow anything...especially layups.

Spurs will be playing in Miami in Game 6 so security will be tighter than Kirby's ss

Spurs should have turned off the AC in Game 6, not Game 1

there was no movement on the spurs offense in the end, i don't really blame the players for holding the ball. nobody was cutting, nobody was screening... whats the ballhandler supposed to do besides dribble?
you mean enrique not passing it to anyone, when he did decide to pass it was a last second bailout shot or pass into a spot the player was setup to fail...

how many t imes did he get into the way of kawhi defending or sticking to lebron cause enrique was caught up in the screen and not switchin or gettin out of the way, didnt help when diaw was on lebron or bosh, he gave them plenty of space to do whatever they wanted, either man up into his grill or go sit on the bench...

duncan attack mode is better then watchin enrique mode

This game is about who has the superior talent. Miami has that advantage, so they'll be fine as this game progresses. Nice season, San Antonio. You'll win game 5 as a goodbye from your fanbase and the 3-peat party will be in South Beach a week from Tuesday night.
This game is about to go to Miami. See you mother ers back in South Beach at 1-1.
Miami will adjust soon enough. No way the Spurs stay at it like this all series. Bull doesn't last forever.
After all of that, Miami is only down 7. The Champs are sitting pretty. A 1-1 series is very much within reach once these guys realize game 2 has started, tbh.
    what the , Daunte..

You were blatant cheating by the arena staff and a bunch of fluky three-pointers away from being commandingly down 2-0.... just like last year, all the threes the Spurs chuck up will stop fluking their way in eventually, tbh....
    We're not the Clippers, tbh...

players aint moving cause they know enrique isnt going to pass and looking for his own individual stats

his goto move has always been head down and run into the lane

mario chalmers needs to do more what he was doing...enjoyed the moment he throw that cheap shot, still that got didnt learn his lesson just gave him more motivation for hero mode...disgusting selfish play from him onwards...

i knew the coatrider was going to pop up out of nowhere for his own personal greed...

duncan got this team here only to see his role diminish to spectator cause some clown has decided its his time

looks like enrique is living up to that quote he made for this season, all or nothing...looks like the choke artists always live up to his quotes...

pretty much. I knew when he tried ISOing against Lebron on such a crucial possession, it was over. Plus Ginobili still trying to kill children in the stands with his turnovers didn't help.

I don't know how you can call the Giants wininng the superbowl when they were .500 at week 13 or some .. or the cardinals winning the WS down 2 runs, 1 strike away..

the former is well do ented... every NY fan gave up on that team, and coughlin, and manning...

The latter is just.. what the ?..

not really... i never claimed he's always wrong ... he's just like thunderup. he always picks his team to win, every time without exception. he just happens to be a fan of the reigning 2x champs. its like when spurs homers say "spurs will win" every game. doesn't make them experts when the spurs happen to win, though

The Cardinals aren't Daunte's team, but he predicted the Rangers' epic choke in historic fashion, tbh.... you're Philo-ing once again

Anyone get a close up of the Ginobili hit in face?

James dove to the ground on his foul draw in the final minute.

Overall this game lacked intensity. A bit disappointing as a neutral viewer

i've never really ventured into the MLB forum, but props for that call by t2z.. when it comes to the nba, all he does is pick miami to win every single game ... its not really a prediction so much as being a homer. he also picked houston to win the west, guaranteed his life that the broncos would win, etc.
