But when you're close enough on talent and fitness, practice time together makes a HUGE difference, particularly when all contenders (top 4/5 teams) are talented enough. I don't think 2002 or 2006 Germany was more talented than Argentina, TBH. And certainly their 2010 roster wasn't 4 goals above ours, talent wise.
