I cant imagine seeing the Red Sox sweep chicago. maybe the A's can pull a win out of their ass against the halos..
That was a great performance, but its time that we start taking care of business and beat the teams we're supposed to beat in order to make the playoffs.
I don't want to be known as one of those "best teams to never make the playoffs" kind of clubs.

LOL White sox are destroying Boston. 7-0 early..
i dont
i dont think
i dont think the 26 World Series championships have anything to do with this year's playoff race
And for the record, the Rangers would have Way more than 1 playoff victory if we were around 200 years like the Yankees were
9-0 white sox'
And who cares how many rings the yankees have. the rangers have been around since 1971. (not counting when they were in washington, i think). The Yankees moved to New York in 1903. Back then they had less teams and the Yankees had the majority of the talent pool. No team has had NEARLY as much money as the Yankees have had over the years thus their dynasty..The Yanks havnt won a le in 9 years, won their own division in 3, and didnt even make the playoffs last year. Not saying they dont have bragging rights over the Rangers, they do, but still.. that has nothing to do with the current teams and the current playoff race.. The Yankees.
damn, nice job White Sox. Just don't blow it please. And yeah Oakland...I would be thrilled if y'all pulled a Houdini and beat the Angels.![]()
White Sox win 9-5! Thanks Chicago!![]()

what do you guys think?
I think...no, I KNOW...we will be cheering for the Yankees quite a bit in the last month. They have 14 games left against the Red Sox, Rays, and Angels.
Our next four series are all winnable. If this team means business, then they will take care of business. Twins, Jays, Orioles, and Indians? Texas needs to roll through that two week stretch like they are a playoff caliber team. No more of this beat-the-good-teams-flop-against-the-rest crap. Win and win some more.
apparently the Angels are close to getting Scott Kazmir from the Rays.

7 games left with the Angels, and only 4 out?
Things might not be lost with the division...
Early report from the Blue Jays-Red Sox game: Aaron Hill hit a 3 run HR for the Jays in the 2nd. Toronto leads 3-0 at Fenway.
GO JAYS!!! I'll have this game on my XM radio while I'm watching the Rangers.
Boston tied the game 3-3 in the 4th, but Toronto came right back in the 5th. Barajas hit a 2 run HR, 5-3 Jays.
!!! about one more foot and this game is tied! ARGH! Murphy was sooooooooo close, damnit!!!!
