I don't even know where to start with this. Here is what offensive coordinator Jason Garrett had to say.
"They blitzed the run a lot throughout the game,'' Garrett said. "There was a commitment there.
"I felt we did a good job moving the ball in different ways. I thought Tony did a really good job of reading through progressions in the passing game. I thought our line protected well against a very good defensive front. We were able to move the ball on them.
"Obviously, you would like to have a consistent running game. But they were so strong in their commitment to shut it down, we had to be able to do something else. We were able to do that.''

I don't see much of a problem with what Garrett said. They did run blitz a lot, and if a team run blitzes you throw on them. They did that. The problems were Barber putting the ball on the carpet at the worst ing time and the defense playing flat and getting owned. I didn't have any problem with offensive playcalling this game, it was the players ing up and turning it over. Romo had a big day.
The quote you should be attacking here is Wade saying the team is a bunch of winners and the December collapses are a figment of the media. That's ridiculous yet totally expected from the marshmallow.
Well, he doesn't really need an excuse to abandon the running game. He does it all the time.
True, but in this one game it was the right call with what the defense was doing. This should have been a win, the offense put up the points - just for about the 1st time this season the defense and special teams both sank the team.
The coaching decision I question is continuing to trot Barber out there early in games in place of Choice. Barber should be on the sidelines in a glass case with a hammer and a note saying "In case of lead in 4th quarter, break glass".
Yeah Barber still doesn't seem to be able to shake the injury. His burst is non-existent.
This week's Fake Jerry and Wade...

Roy Williams was quoted defending Wade, saying, "I like playing for him. He's like Mack. He blames himself when we lose, and gives his players the credit when we win."
Perfect.![]()
Except Mack can win in January.
"Ay, there's tha rub..."
I just can't imagine a coach not gettin onto his players for their -ups. What does he say to them when they review film?
"Sorry, guys. I should've known that 'return kickoff for a quick TD' play was comin. My bad."
"Again, that's my mistake, MB. I should've secured the ball in your arm better before you took off and lost it..."
