This was what I was afraid of.. they may only have the minimum but there are some decent talents out there that would probably take a paycut and accept that minimum contract..

GSW close to signing of Dorell Wright to three-year deal. Wright is true SF so Dubs feel he's priority over matching Morrow offer from NJN

For equal money, I would too. But if you're asking me to choose between:

    Frye at 5 yr/$30M

    or

    Bonner 4 yr/$14M

I'm definitely going with Bonner. There is just not that big of a difference IMHO in the two players.

Wright had no chance of coming here, his character issues are too much for the Spurs IMO..I would have liked him, but it was unlikely..

If that's my choice, I'm going with neither... Neither guy is worth close to that amount of money, and I wouldn't even consider paying either one of 'em. I'd pay Matt Bonner to stay away from my team personally, but at least Frye is worthy of playing in the NBA. Frye is easily worth twice as much as Bonner, just not worth $30mil.... He shoulda got Bonner's deal, and Bonner should be forced into early retirement.

I guess Wright for the LLE was indeed a pipe dream.

Yup. Unless the Spurs can convince someone to take less it's looking more and more like the Centerpiece will be returning.

PF's are already blowing past him...do you really want to watch SF's dribble around him Harlem Globetrotter-style before going in for a layup?
